During a press conference on Thursday, Joe Biden said something that drew even more uncomfortable laughter from the press than usual.
While discussing new COVID travel rules, Biden joked that Anthony Fauci was actually the president…
Biden said, “I’ve seen more of Dr. Fauci than I have my wife. We kid each other. But — hey look, who’s president? Fauci.”
He continued b y saying, “But all kidding aside, I sincerely mean it.”
Well, that’s a thing that occurred…
Also on Thursday, the White House released a video, narrated by Fauci, detailing Joe Biden’s “Winter plan” for dealing with COVID.
Let’s face a serious truth here…
Joe Biden is far too gone to come up with a plan for anything.
If Fauci isn’t the one pulling the strings here as Biden may have eluded to, someone other than Biden is…
The New York Post has more on Biden's possible Freudian slip:
President Biden drew nervous laughter Thursday by joking that Dr. Anthony Fauci actually is the president before announcing tighter COVID-19 travel rules amid fears of the Omicron variant of the virus.
“I’ve seen more of Dr. Fauci than I have my wife. We kid each other. But — hey look, who’s president? Fauci,” Biden said while announcing his “winter plan” for the pandemic at the National Institutes of Health in Maryland.
Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, is Biden’s chief medical adviser and a divisive figure among Republicans.
“Dr. Fauci as president: That’s not a joke, that’s a nightmare to so many Americans,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) told Fox News shortly after Biden’s remarks. “I mean, when did Dr. Fauci ever put his name on a ballot and run for office and get elected by we, the people? But yet, he has complete authority.”
The timing is perfect for Biden to make such a joke, as the White House just released a new video of Fauci detailing Biden's "Winter plan" for COVID by imploring Americans to get vaccinated.
this whole administration is a joke...
The Daily Caller has more:
“I’ve seen more of Dr. Fauci than I have my wife,” Biden laughed. “We kid each other, but hey, look who’s president? Fauci. But all kidding aside, I sincerely mean it.”
Fauci, who serves as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in addition to being Biden’s chief medical advisor on COVID-19, has been praised by the media for his role in fighting the pandemic.
In addition to appearing on the July 2020 cover of InStyle Magazine, Fauci was profiled in a documentary shown in theaters and on streaming service Disney+ and was also the subject of a children’s book published by Simon & Schuster.
