CNN, NBC, ABC and Other Major MSM Outlets File Briefs SUPPORTING Steve Bannon!

Instead of searching for truth, the media turns a blind eye to anything that doesn’t support the official narrative. 

After a literal insurrection at the Waukesha Christmas parade when career criminal Darrell Brooks murdered innocent Christians, the mainstream media blamed an SUV.

President Trump warned us the mainstream media was the enemy of the people.

We now have proof the mainstream media’s narrative is cabal-driven, so it seems President Trump was right again.

Besides their lack of credibility, the mainstream media has never supported American ideals or our Constitution.

They openly carry the narrative for stricter gun laws and limit our free speech at every opportunity.

In a shocking display of Constitutional support, a group of media outlets has joined former Trump chief White House Strategist Steve Bannon in his bid to unseal files from his contempt of Congress case.

The media group includes CNN, ABC, NBC, the Washington Post, the New York Times, and the parent company of the Wall Street Journal.

The group filed a legal brief supporting Bannon’s attempt to fight a proposed protective order.

The proposed protective order would prevent Bannon from publicizing January 6 documents and information.

The Department of Justice proposed the protective order, limiting what Bannon can do with the overwhelming information the federal government will have to share as part of discovery during the trial.

This includes over 1,000 pages of witness testimony, emails from staff, and grand jury material.

Could the mainstream media be having a change of heart with this outward support of free speech?

The Department of Justice has accused Bannon of abusing criminal discovery “to try this case in the media rather than in court.”

The media group argues the need for public access “is very strong,” pointing to Chief Judge Beryl Howell’s order to release a video from another January 6 case.

The group also says Bannon has proved his willingness to communicate with the press and public about the Biden regime’s case against him.

The media group – which includes CNN, ABC, NBC, plus the Washington Post, the New York Times, and the parent company of the Wall Street Journal – filed a motion to intervene as Bannon’s fights the government’s proposed order as part of his contempt of Congress case. 

The order would severely limit what Bannon can do with the trove of information that the feds must share as part of the normal discovery process and have already begun handing over.  According to a prior government filing, this includes more than 1,000 pages of witness testimony, grand jury material, and even emails from staff for the House Jan. 6th Committee investigating the Capitol riot.

The press group argues that the government’s proposed order would violate the First Amendment – and takes on the government’s own contention that allowing Bannon to use the materials would result in pretrial publicity that could taint the jury pool. 

‘Proper justification for a gag order necessarily includes a finding, in absence of its entry, that no ‘less restrictive alternatives’ can adequately prevent the perceived harm,’ according to the filing, which media lawyers provided to clerks via email Nov. 26th pursuant in U.S. District Court and which was obtained by DailyMail.com.

The order ‘would prohibit Bannon and his counsel from communicating with the press and public about any materials that the Government provides during discovery – not just materials that the Government properly deems ‘sensitive,’ according to the filing. 

The filing puts the mainstream press squarely on the side of Bannon, who has in the past said the Times should be ‘ashamed and humiliated’ and attacked the media as the ‘opposition party’ – albeit on a procedural matter of mutual interest. 

Steve Bannon is the first person charged for refusing to appear before Nancy Pelosi’s House January 6 committee.

On October 21, the House of Representatives voted 229-202 to hold Bannon in contempt.

For refusing to appear for a deposition in front of the January 6 Committee, the House referred the matter to the Justice Department.

The RINOS who voted to hold Bannon in contempt are Reps. Peter Meijer and Fred Upton of Michigan, John Katko of New York, Nancy Mace of South Carolina, Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington, Liz Cheney of Wyoming, and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois.

Bannon has pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor counts of criminal contempt of Congress.

Outside the federal courthouse in D.C, Bannon told everyone he was “taking on the illegitimate Biden regime” when he turned himself into the FBI.

Schoen said Bannon entered the not guilty plea in written form. A virtual status hearing is scheduled for Thursday. Bannon was charged after defying a subpoena from the congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Bannon struck a defiant tone outside the federal courthouse in Washington, D.C., where he appeared on Monday, saying he is “taking on the Biden regime.”

“This is going to be a misdemeanor from hell for Merrick Garland, Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden,” he said Monday.

He is being charged for refusing to appear for a congressional deposition and for refusing to provide documents in response to the committee’s subpoena. The charges could carry up to a year in prison and $1,000 fine, each.

The House voted 229-202 to hold Bannon in contempt last month on Oct. 21. Reps. Peter Meijer and Fred Upton of Michigan, John Katko of New York, Nancy Mace of South Carolina, Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington, Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois were the nine Republicans who voted to hold Bannon in contempt.

After the media smeared Bannon, Trump, and anything remotely America first, one has to wonder whether the mainstream media has good intentions.

The mainstream media has been painting narratives driven by the cabal instead of truth for decades.

If the past proves the future, it doesn’t look very bright for mainstream news outlets.

Instead of covering an actual insurrection in Waukesha, the mainstream media focuses on anything to make President Trump and Patriots look bad.
