County of Santa Cruz Issues Order to Wear Masks In Private Settings, Including Your Home

Where do these public health agencies get the nerve to tell citizens what to do inside their homes?

We’re going on 20 months of COVID insanity, and health officials keep thinking they’re the most powerful authorities in this country.

Honestly, I feel sorry for any individual who thinks he/she must listen to these tyrants still drunk on power.

A case in point is Santa Cruz County in California.

Due to rising COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, the county health officer issued a health order that requires all individuals wear facial coverings indoors.

The health order applies to vaccinated and unvaccinated and includes private settings when non-household members are present.

In the County of Santa Cruz, regardless of vaccination status, “masks must be worn in private settings, including YOUR HOME, when non-household members are present.”

Right in time for Thanksgiving…

The medical authoritarians have had 20 months to prove the efficacy of facial coverings to slow the spread of COVID-19.

And they’ve miserably failed that test.

Face masks make zero difference at best and exacerbate the spread at worst.

Yet, medical tyrants still insist on pushing the same failed policies.

They’re either wildly incompetent or drunk with newfound power.

The mandate applies to gatherings of those who live in a different homes but meet together in one location, and it was imposed in light of rising COVID-19 cases in the area, according to ABC 7.

Bay Area COVID-19 cases are still lower than they were during summer surges, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. “Unfortunately, a potential winter surge appears to be a significant threat to the health and safety of our community,” said Dr. Gail Newel, Santa Cruz County’s health officer, according to the Chronicle.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed received blowback after being photographed maskless at a nightclub in violation of her own mandate in September. “We don’t need the fun police to come in and try and micromanage and tell us what we should or shouldn’t be doing,” Breed said, according to the Los Angeles Times. “We know what we need to do to protect ourselves.”

For once, I agree with San Francisco Mayor London Breed.

American citizens don’t need the “fun police” to micromanage people and tell them what to do.

That same principle should apply to public health agencies who think they can boss people around inside their private homes.
