The vile act that occurred last night in Waukesha Wisconsin has left citizens realing over why someone would do something so indiscriminately evil.
At least 40 people are said to be injured, and 5 dead according to the most recent report.
While an incident of such magnitude should unite all people as one, tragically, that has not occurred.
During times like this, it is usually important to wait for all of the details before pursuing or eliminating any possibilities as to why this occurred.
Instead, much of the mainstream media, as well as authorities, are already prematurely claiming that this was not an act of domestic terrorism.
Again, we should all wait for the fact to come out, but the media openly denying the possibity that this was not an accident is very suspect…
Mediate has more on this tragedy, including a CNN report that the incident may have been unintentional:
CNN reports that the suspect who drove their car through a holiday parade in Wisconsin was fleeing from another crime scene, and authorities don’t believe that the incident was an act of terrorism.
Shimon Prokupecz appeared on CNN New Day on Monday to report on the tragedy in Waukesha, where at least 5 people were killed and dozens more were injured after a red SUV plowed into the crowd at a Christmas event. Prokupecz told John Berman that the suspect — who is in custody — drove into the parade route as they were fleeing from a separate incident.
According to the BBC, at least one official was quoted denying that this was an act of terrorism:
At least five people have been killed and more than 40 injured after a car ploughed into a Christmas parade in the US state of Wisconsin, police say.
School bands and a dance troupe of grannies were among those marching through the city of Waukesha when a red SUV came speeding down the road.
It hit dozens of people, including children.
One person is in custody. The incident does not appear "at this time" to be an act of terrorism, one official said.
A CNN reporter also claimed that the incident could have been "unintentional."
Still, others aren't ready to dismiss the fact that this could have been a domestic terrorist attack.
