Vials Labeled as Smallpox Discovered In PA Just Days After Gates Warns of Small Pox Bioterror Attack

The truth is more bizarre than fiction.

Just days after Bill Gates declared in an interview that the world needs to prepare for bioterror attacks from virus’s such as small pox, the CDC has just publicly announced that vials labeled as “smallpox” were discovered in Merck’s lab in Pennsylvania.

The CDC released a statement recently stating that vials labeled as “smallpox” were found inside of a lab research center in Pennsylvania.

As of right now the vials found are still under investigations but raises a questions, why are possible vials of smallpox just nonchalantly being stored in vaccine research centers; that’s just an “accident” waiting to happen.

Here’s Bill Gates talking about smallpox being weaponized:

CBS News had more on the story:

Federal health authorities on Wednesday confirmed the discovery of some frozen vials labeled “Smallpox” in a freezer at a facility in Pennsylvania that conducts vaccine research.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the vials “were incidentally discovered by a laboratory worker” who was cleaning out the freezer.

“CDC, its administration partners, and law enforcement are investigating the matter and the vials’ contents appear intact,” CDC spokesperson Belsie González said in an email.

“The laboratory worker who discovered the vials was wearing gloves and a face mask,” González wrote. “There is no indication that anyone has been exposed to the small number of frozen vials.”

The discovery raised concerns over inadequate security, not public safety, he added.

The New York Post added to the story too:

Frozen vials labeled “Smallpox” were recently discovered by a laboratory worker at a Pennsylvania facility that conducts vaccine research, federal officials said.

The vials were found while the worker was clearing out a freezer at the unspecified facility, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“CDC, its administration partners, and law enforcement are investigating the matter and the vials’ contents appear intact,” a CDC spokesperson told The Associated Press.

“The laboratory worker who discovered the vials was wearing gloves and a face mask. There is no indication that anyone has been exposed to the small number of frozen vials.”

Caused by the variola virus, smallpox plagued the world for centuries and killed nearly a third of the people it infected.

The World Health Organization designated two sites in the world where stocks of variola virus are stored and used for research: the CDC facility in Atlanta and a center in Russia.
