Biden Continues To Wear A Mask Despite D.C. Mayor Lifting Mask Requirements

This just in, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser lifts Washington, D.C.’s requirement for wearing masks indoors.

A mask mandate has been in effect in the D.C. area since July 2020.

Fox News has more on the story:

The White House does not plan to follow Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s decision to end the requirement that people mask indoors.

“The White House follows CDC guidance which recommends masking in areas of high or substantial transmission,” White House assistant press secretary Kevin Munoz told Fox News’ Patrick Ward Tuesday.

Of course Mayor Bowser does NOT miss this chance to talk about the “wonders” of the covid jab stating

“We are encouraged by the numbers that have opted into vaccination now, some of them encouraged by mandates,” Bowser said Monday of her plans to end the mandate. “There may even be an increase in cases … but what we haven’t seen is an increase in hospitalizations and deaths. That is the promise of vaccination.”

What’s more disturbing, D.C. has imposed some of the strictest mask mandates and has moved on to unconstitutional vaccine mandates which include jabbing children 12 years of age or older.

According to D.C Mayor Muriel Bowser’s website

Student-Athletes who will turn 12 between September 16 2021 and November 1 2021 must be fully vaccinated before December 13, 2021 to be eligible to practice or compete in school based extracurricular athletics.

How is it that D.C.’s most liberal mayor is lifting the mask mandate, but the Biden Administration can’t bring itself to follow suit?

My next question, why impose all of these rules, when The White House can’t even seem to follow its own rules?

Just Monday, a reporter told Jen Psaki “Jen you have to wear a mask like the rest of us!”

The hypocrisy has been going on for far too long. It’s time for the democrats to give it up already.

My opinion, these mask mandates are all about control and they are going to hold on to it til their last breath.

Remember “Rules for thee, but not for me,” is the name of the game for Democrats.
