Elon Musk Has The Perfect Reply To Bernie Sanders On Twitter

Twitter feuds are nothing if not entertaining especially when they involve socialists and people who actually work for a living.

In a recent Tweet, millionaire communist senator Bernie Sanders went after Elon Musk.

Musk’s reply is just brilliant:

Here’s Fox News with the full scoop:

Tesla CEO Elon Musk brushed off Sen. Bernie Sanders’s demands that the wealthy “pay their fair share” in his latest back-and-forth with the self-described democratic socialist.

“I keep forgetting that you’re still alive,” Musk tweeted at Sanders Sunday morning.

The tweet came in response to Sanders saying on Twitter Saturday that, “We must demand that the extremely wealthy pay their fair share. Period.”

The two have previously sparred over taxes on Twitter, included in March when Sanders said Musk should “focus on Earth” instead of space travel and figuring out “a progressive tax system.”

Musk, who also owns the aerospace company SpaceX, tweeted a couple of days later that he is using his wealth to get humanity to explore space.

If you don’t want the smoke don’t go after Musk.

But seriously, what does Sanders mean by ‘pay their fair share.’

Aren’t you like a multi-millionaire yourself?

Here’s ABC NEWS with Bernie’s earnings:

Sanders reported an adjusted gross income of nearly $561,293 and paid $145,840, a 26% effective rate, in 2018, the documents show. In 2016 and 2017, Sanders reported earning $1.06 million and $1.13 million in adjusted gross income and paid at a 35% and 30% effective rate, respectively.

Sanders reported earning over $850,000 as an author in 2017 and nearly $800,000 as an author in 2016.

His millionaire status, paired with decades of avid criticism of the millionaire and billionaire class, sets him up for scrutiny in a crowded field of Democrats running for the 2020 nomination.

I guess that’s why he stopped using the term millionaire and instead now uses the term ‘ultra-wealthy.’

So Bernie when you become a billionaire then what?

It’s also ironic how little Bernie actually contributes from his wealth towards charity.

According to NPR Sanders and his wife donated less than 4% of their income to charity.

How does Musk compare?

The billionaire makes a number of donations yearly that surpass the 100 million mark and has promised to donate at least half of his net worth as reported by Forbes.

What’s funny is how fast the left is willing to turn on people like Musk who has pioneered the electric car sector:

Who will the left go after next?

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. maybe?

Could you imagine!

Luckily some people still have some sense on Twitter:

https://twitter.com/JohnnaCrider1/status/1459926680374550539?s=20

The hypocrisy of the left is at an all-time high.

These people will literally say anything that gets them more power.

Tax the rich, get the vaccine, wear a mask…

It’s all just the same meanwhile Newsom’s daughter isn’t vaccinated, Bernie is a multi-millionaire, and Elizabeth Warren donates less than 2% of her income to charity.

Can government cockroaches and bureaucrats please leave the men and women who drive innovation in the country alone, please!
