“Riots, Fire, Bloodshed”: BLM Leader Threatens NYC Mayor

Where’s the Department of Justice?

Where’s the FBI?

A BLM leader just threatened “riots, fire, bloodshed” against the Mayor of New York City.

Specifically, the BLM leader made these threats on the local news.

Why?

He’s afraid that NYC Mayor Eric Adams may get tough on crime.

If the mayor follows through on his promise, the BLM leader threatened “riots, fire, bloodshed” in New York.

If this were a Trump supporter or someone with a MAGA hat, don’t you think this would be turned into a federal investigation?

Don’t you think the media would be claiming “insurrection”?!

Yet…

This man appears to be able to say whatever he wants, including threats against the mayor of New York City.

Crime spiked after BLM became a national movement in the middle of the pandemic.

But crime in blue cities got especially bad under Democrat leaders.

Now, leaders in blue cities are attempting to fight back.

But is it too little, too late?

The New York Post confirms that BLM leaders appear to be against the crackdown:

A Black Lives Matter leader vowed there’ll be “riots,” “fire” and “bloodshed” if Mayor-elect Eric Adams follows through with his promise to bring back plainclothes anti-crime cops to battle New York’s surge in violent crimes.

New York BLM co-founder Hawk Newsome debated the plan for a return to tougher policing with Adams during a contentious sit-down at Brooklyn Borough Hall Wednesday that was livestreamed on Instagram.

Although Adams found common ground with the activists on plans to fight poverty in the black community, the former NYPD captain said he’ll be reinstating a revamped version of the undercover anti-crime unit that was disbanded at the height of widespread police protests last year.

“If they think they are going back to the old ways of policing then we’re going to take to the streets again,” New York BLM co-founder Hawk Newsome said outside Borough Hall after the meeting.

“To ignore that history and say you’re bringing it back means that he’s tone deaf,” Newsome told The Post over the phone about the task force whose officers were involved in the deaths of Amadou Diallo, Sean Bell and Eric Garner.

Adams, throughout his campaign, promised to bring back a “reinvented” version of the Anti-Crime Unit that was tasked with firearm busts, as well as a crackdown on violent crime and hard drugs.

The controversial unit was dissolved in June 2020 by Police Commissioner Dermot Shea following a “disproportionate” number of high-profile incidents that involved the plainclothes cops.

Former officer Daniel Pantaleo was assigned to the anti-crime unit when he placed Eric Garner into a chokehold on Staten Island — with the man’s last words, “I can’t breathe” becoming a rallying cry for the BLM movement.

The BLM leader said he was troubled Adams “didn’t offer a comment on police reform … he wouldn’t offer us anything concrete” during their sit-down.

Hawk Newsome called Mayor-elect Eric Adams “tone-deaf” for ignoring the history of rising police brutality, in part from the Anti-Crime Unit.

“We will be at his front door, we will be at Gracie Mansion, we will be in the streets, if he allows these police to abuse us,” Newsome said.

“We will be at his front door…”

Now, we don’t know about you, but to us, that sounds like a threat.

So again, we ask:

Where is the FBI?

Where is the Department of Justice?

Why aren’t these very public threats being investigated?

This raises the question:

Why do we as a society even tolerate riots in the first place?

It seems that in their zeal to get President Trump out of office, Democrats idolized criminals and violent offenders.

Now, they are reaping what they sowed.

Newsweek confirms the violent threats:

Black Lives Matter of Greater New York leader Hawk Newsome said Wednesday there would be “bloodshed” and “riots” if Mayor-elect Eric Adams keeps his campaign promise of reinstating a controversial undercover anti-crime unit.

Newsome made the comments following a meeting with Adams that was live-streamed on Instagram. Though the two agreed on several points, they clashed over bringing back plainclothes cops in order to combat the city’s rising violent crime rates.

“If they think they are going back to the old ways of policing then we’re going to take to the streets again,” Newsome said to reporters outside of Brooklyn Borough Hall after the meeting. “There will be riots. There will be fire, and there will be bloodshed.”

Adams, a former NYPD captain and current Brooklyn borough president, was elected mayor in November after he won a June primary against a crowded field of Democratic candidates, which included several progressives. The moderate Democrat has pledged that the undercover anti-crime unit will return to patrolling the city streets after it was disbanded in 2020 during the social justice protests that swept through New York City.

Hopefully this is just hot air.

But given the craziness we’ve seen over the last two years, we wouldn’t be surprised if the threat is legitimate.

Why are some criminals allowed to get away with these sorts of threats and activities?

But some people (many of whom are innocent) continue to be investigated and harassed simply because they support President Trump?

The double-standard, political prejudice, and hatred against American principles must stop!
