This is what it’s really come to…
Joe Biden just went on Twitter and thanked a fictional Sesame Street muppet for getting the COVID vaccine…
The famous muppet known as “Big Bird,” who has a verified Twitter account, announced on Saturday that he had gotten the vaccine.
Biden responded to the post by saying:
“Good on ya, @BigBird. Getting vaccinated is the best way to keep your whole neighborhood safe.”
Republicans openly mocked this act, and pointed out that Biden and CNN were pushing some pretty sick propaganda upon children.
Liberals then attacked republicans like Ted Cruz for mocking the incident.
Biden has yet to respond to Elmo...
Breitbart has more on Joe Biden's response to the famous fake bird on Twitter:
The president’s Twitter account replied to a message from Big Bird’s social media account informing everyone that it was vaccinated.
“I got the COVID-19 vaccine today!” Big Bird’s account read. “My wing is feeling a little sore, but it’ll give my body an extra protective boost that keeps me and others healthy.”
“Good on ya, Big Bird,” Biden’s account replied. “Getting vaccinated is the best way to keep your whole neighborhood safe.”
Republicans called out the ridiculous propaganda efforts of the Left on Twitter.
Daily Mail with more on republican reaction:
President Joe Biden congratulated Big Bird for receiving his COVID-19 vaccine after conservatives including Republican Sen. Ted Cruz called a tweet from the Sesame Street character 'propaganda ... for your five-year-old.'
'Good on ya, @BigBird,' Biden tweeted Sunday night. 'Getting vaccinated is the best way to keep your whole neighborhood safe.'
The fictional bird, who, according to Sesame Street lore, is eternally 6-years-old, tweeted his vaccination status on Saturday, writing: 'I got the COVID-19 vaccine today! My wing is feeling a little sore, but it'll give my body an extra protective boost that keeps me and others healthy.'
Big Bird added that CNN journalist Erica Hill 'even said I've been getting vaccines since I was a little bird.'
'I had no idea!' the Muppet said.
Big Bird issued the tweet days after the FDA approved Pfizer's COVID vaccine for children ages five to 11, with critics accusing the character of trying to foist shots on kids.
'Government propaganda ... for your 5 year old!' Cruz wrote sharing Big Bird's message.
The tweets also sparked criticism from other conservatives, like FOX News host Lisa Boothe who said it was 'brainwashing children who are not at risk from COVID,' and Newsmax host Steve Cortes, who wrote: 'This kind of propaganda is actually evil.'
Liberals had an absolute meltdown over Ted Cruz's comments.
Cruz took time to trigger liberals a bit more on Twitter following the backlash:
Liberals are trying to make this situation look like republicans are angry over nothing.
If they'd take even a second to look in the mirror, they'd see that this is the most ludicrous thing that's happened under any administration ever.
