Even Madonna Now Taking a Stand Against Cancel Culture

At the 2017 Women’s March, Madonna admitted she “thought about blowing up the White House.”

Somehow, that never got censored for hate speech.

Meanwhile, the Left considers “Let’s Go Brandon” offensive.

Like a hypocrite, Madonna is now speaking up against cancel culture.

Something had to cause Madonna to have such a significant flip-flop in ideology.

Could it be the massive influence Conservatives yield in buying power?

Or is she more moderate than the rest of Hollywood?

In a recent interview, Madonna mentions the polarization of thinking that vaccination is the only answer.

She also calls the censorship we see today “frightening.”

Madonna is not shy about speaking up against the censorship taking place today.

She said disturbing the peace is likely an act of “treason” and believes it’s her job as an artist to “disturb the status quo.”

Madonna mentions all this about the cancel culture hitting the COVID-19 vaccine discussions.

I want to disturb the fact that we’re not encouraged to discuss it. I believe that our job [as artists] is to disturb the status quo.

The Gateway Pundit has more:

In a recent interview with playwright Jeremy O. Harris for V Magazine, Madonna said that the censorship taking place these days is “frightening.”

“It’s interesting because peace is subjective,” the Material Girl singer explained. “The way people think about the pandemic, for instance, that the vaccination is the only answer or the polarization of thinking you’re either on this side or the other. There’s no debate, there’s no discussion.”

Madonna, who spoke at the Women’s March against President Donald Trump. At the time, she faced severe backlash for saying during her speech, “I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House. But I know that this won’t change anything.”

That’s something I want to disturb,” she said. “I want to disturb the fact that we’re not encouraged to discuss it. I believe that our job [as artists] is to disturb the status quo. The censoring that’s going on in the world right now, that’s pretty frightening. No one’s allowed to speak their mind right now. No one’s allowed to say what they really think about things for fear of being canceled, cancel culture. In cancel culture, disturbing the peace is probably an act of treason.”

Madonna said that silence and fear of being able to speak out is “dangerous.”

“The thing is the quieter you get, the more fearful you get, the more dangerous anything is,” she said. “We’re giving it power by shutting the f— up completely.”

It appears Madonna may have had a change of heart in the last four years.

President Trump’s agenda, which included taking a stand against cancel culture, had Madonna wanting to retaliate violently against the President.

In case you missed it, we have the clip of Madonna at the women’s march in 2017 stating she “thought about blowing up the White House.”

After the crowd laughs at her statement, she says, “I know this won’t change anything.”

If Madonna is now a voice of reason, the Left has gone off the deep end.

Has Madonna come over from the dark side?

Or is this discussion for her bottom line?

Perhaps Madonna is more level-headed than the rest of Hollywood.

It’s never too late for a sinner to repent.

Kudos to her for speaking up!
