Liz Cheney is trending on Twitter right now for all the wrong reasons.
Cheney decided to target Fox News host Tucker Carlson over the trailer for his new documentary series Patriot Purge, which looks into what actually happened on January 6th.
Based on the short trailer for the documentary, Cheney accused Carlson of spreading “the same type of lies that provoked violence on January 6.”
She claimed that Fox News was enabling Carlson by giving him a platform.
Tucker fired back at Cheney on Thursday.
He blasted her for not even waiting for the facts of the show, and invited her to discuss the matter in person.
Cheney denied the invite, after which Carlosn called her both a “liar” and a “coward.”
#LyingLiz is now trending on Twitter.
