Biden Claims He Hasn’t Had Time to Visit the Southern Border, “I Guess I should Go”

Joe Biden participated in another CNN Town Hall on Thursday.

Just as the last one did, it ended up being an utter disaster.

Aside from creepily whispering, flashing the alleged “white power” sign, and being unable to form coherant sentences, Biden also gave one of the worst answers ever to a question about why he hasn’t yet visited the southern border.

Anderson Cooper asked Biden directly, “Do you have plans to visit the southern border?”

Biden responded:

“I’ve been there before and I know it well. I guess I should go down, but the whole point of it is I haven’t has a whole lot of time to get down.”

He then made several excuses for why he hasn’t had time to visit before proclaiming that his wife Jill had been to the border.

That’s great Joe…

Now please tell America why you and Kamala Harris can’t be bothered to visit.

Biden Says He Hasn't Had Time to Visit the Southern Border

Various reports indicate that Biden has never once been to the southern border in his entire political career.

Where are the fact checkers when you need them?

Maybe Jen Psaki should check her history books for the answer...

Here's more on Biden's awkward answer during CNN's town hall from the New York Post:

President Biden on Thursday said, “I guess I should go” to the US-Mexico border, but that he hasn’t been able to find the time — despite spending at least part of 70 days in office collecting some R&R at one of his Delaware homes.

Biden said during a CNN town hall that he’s been to the border before, a claim for which Fox News recently reported it was unable to find evidence, and that he might go again.

“I’ve been there before and I haven’t — I mean, I know it well. I guess I should go down. But the whole point of it is I haven’t had a whole hell of a lot of time to get down,” he said.

The Daily Caller has more on Biden's poor answer:

Biden noted that his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, has been down and seen “both sides of the river.” He did not mention Vice President Kamala Harris’s trip to the southern border in June but continued on to argue his administration has improved conditions for migrants.

“There’s much more to be done,” Biden added.

In September, amid a massive wave of mostly Haitian migrants, the president admitted that the situation at the border was not under control, though he vowed to get it under control. The Biden administration has repeatedly blamed Trump for the situation at the border and has largely refused to declare it a crisis.
