It’s official:
The White House is considering deploying the National Guard.
Why?
Is it because of a terrorism threat?
Is it because of a natural disaster like a hurricane or a tornado?
No, it’s because of a man-made, Biden-made disaster:
The supply chain crisis.
That’s right: the Biden regime is weighing deploying the National Guard to fix the supply chain crisis.
But here’s the thing.
Pete Buttigieg is still missing.
He is MIA.
As Transportation Secretary, this should be Buttigieg’s responsibility.
Instead, he is on paternity leave with his partner.
To make matters worse, he didn’t even appoint a “point person” while he was gone.
It appears that the Department of Transportation is barely functioning in his absence.

You would think that Buttigieg would have appointed a point person while he is on paternity leave.
But it appears there is no leadership at the department now.
Breitbart confirms that the White House is considering escalating the issue:
The White House is reportedly weighing whether to deploy the National Guard to confront the ever growing supply chain crisis while Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has been on paternity leave.
“White House officials have explored in recent weeks whether the National Guard could be deployed to help address the nation’s mounting supply chain backlog, three people with knowledge of the matter said,” the Washington Post reported Tuesday.
The Post described the deliberations as reflecting an “extent to which internal administration deliberations about America’s overwhelmed supply chain have sparked outside-the-box proposals to leverage government resources to address the issue.”
The report noted that a “person with knowledge” of the deliberations suggested deploying the National Guard is one option the White House could implement. A second option would reportedly be to work “through states to deploy servicemembers.”
[…]
Meanwhile, Secretary Buttigieg, who could not fix his own roads in South Bend as mayor and who was aided by Dominos Pizza to do so, has been on paternity leave since mid-August. The White House told reporters Tuesday that a “range of officials” are in change of the agency while Buttigieg is spending time with his husband and two babies.
While Buttigieg has been away from the office, the supply chain crisis is worsening. Supermarkets are raising their prices for food. Hardware stores are low on inventory. And emergency medical services are being threatened by a lack of supplies.
The supply chain crisis is likely a product of Biden’s coronavirus stimulus package passed in March, which pumped massive amounts of money into the economy and dramatically increased unemployment benefits on top of Democrat-controlled states that also increased the social benefits.
Remember, folks…
Just a few weeks ago, the media was telling us there’s no supply chain crisis.
The Democrat party appeared to downplay the severity of what’s happening.
However, the fact that the White House is considering deploying the National Guard tells you just how bad the situation actually is.
And it appears to be getting worse.

Keep in mind that Trump was president for four years.
He was also president when the pandemic started.
Was there ever a supply chain crisis under President Trump?
No, there wasn’t.
This is a disaster by Biden’s own making.
You know things are bad when even CNN is reporting this:
Facing a mounting supply chain crisis, the White House is exploring whether to deploy the National Guard to ease bottlenecks, though that option is viewed as unlikely, a person familiar with the matter told CNN.
Business groups have urged the Biden administration to consider out-of-the-box ideas to address the supply chain mess, which is snarling shipments, raising costs and leaving some store shelves empty.
Asked if the White House would consider bringing in the National Guard or Navy to help unload cargo stacked up at ports or drive trucks, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday, “I’m not here to take options off the table.”
A White House official confirmed to CNN that the administration continues to assess all potential options to address the supply chain stress — including deploying the National Guard.
However, tapping the National Guard is not imminent and while the administration is not taking anything off the table, it is unlikely to move forward with this, a person familiar with the matter told CNN.
We’re only 10 months in, and we already have multiple crises under Biden.
The worst part?
Every crisis appears to be intentionally done by the Biden regime.
