Florida Mom Arrested For Breaking COVID Rules and Staying With Non-Verbal Daughter in Hospital

The China virus has brought out all the protective parents who know the COVID-19 protocols are unhealthy for their children.

Parents are taking a stand for their rights more than ever at school board meetings protesting mask mandates.

Even though Democrats have declared war on concerned parents at school board meetings, parents aren’t backing down.

COVID-19 protocols affect children everywhere, not just in school!

Amid the totalitarian protocols, devoted parents have taken their advocacy all around.

Fiercely devoted parents do NOT want to be told by the government how to parent their children.

One Florida mom just proved to the world that no one better mess with a “mama bear.”

70-year old Lynn Savage was forcefully removed from the hospital for not leaving her non-verbal daughter’s bedside.

She then spent 24 hours in the Duval County jail after refusing to leave!

Savage is her daughter’s caretaker and interpreter, and she stands by her actions 100%.

Lynn Savage is also a great-grandmother who, in good conscience, couldn’t leave her daughter.

She also says she is NOT sorry for choosing to stay by her daughter’s side.

Savage’s daughter recently had a stroke and had undergone brain surgery at UF Health North in Jacksonville, Florida.

For choosing to stay with her daughter after visiting hours, officers took Savage to jail.

Savage says her night in jail was terrifying, but she “would rather be there than know that I had walked away from my daughter.”

Savage has been charged with trespassing.

The Blaze has more:

She had been by her daughter Amber’s side since 6:30 a.m. that day following the surgery. The news outlet noted that Savage’s daughter is currently “non-verbal and partially paralyzed on the right side” after suffering a stroke and that Savage was present at the hospital for support and to serve as an interpreter.

But when 7 p.m. rolled around, a nurse notified Savage that visiting hours had ended and she would have to leave per COVID-19 health guidelines. Savage refused.

“I could not in good conscience and good heart leave her bedside not knowing how she was going to make it through the night voluntarily,” she said.

She noted that a doctor had asked her to come into the intensive care unit room to calm her daughter down post-surgery.

As a former deputy sheriff in Ohio, Savage knew what her refusal would ultimately lead to, but she stayed anyway. She later told law enforcement that she preferred arrest to voluntarily abandoning her daughter, according to a police report.

The report added that security officers “spent a couple of hours” pleading with the mother to leave.

Savage confirmed to Action News Jax that she spent 24 hours in Duval County Jail and now has an Oct. 20 date in court.

“[It was] not an experience that I would ever want to do again for the rest of my life,” she recounted. “It was horrible. It was filthy, it was more like an insane asylum with the women screaming and hollering and banging on bars and banging on walls. It was just terrifying, but I would rather be there than know that I had walked away from my daughter.”

Any guardian or parent deserves to be with their child in the hospital AT ALL TIMES.

Especially with a non-verbal child!

You can watch an interview from Action News Jax with more from Lynn Savage below:

The hospital stands by its decision, saying its policies “protect everyone from COVID-19.”

Isn’t the hospital violating the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by discriminating against Savage’s non-verbal daughter’s need for an interpreter?

Furthermore, why are hospitals separating loved ones forcefully?

Doctors who separate loved ones based on COVID-19 protocols are violating the Hippocratic oath they take to “do no harm.”

What happened to “do no harm” for a patient’s mental health and emotional support?

Also, what mom wouldn’t fight to sit bedside with their child after major surgery?

We cannot allow medical tyranny and government overreach to continue to occur.

If the Biden regime’s communist agenda hasn’t knocked on your door yet, it’s only a matter of time.

Now is the time to stand with the Lynn Savages of the world in peaceful non-compliance to all unconstitutional COVID-19 protocols.

If hospitals can blatantly violate the ADA, and police can arrest a concerned mother, what will they get away with next?
