Navy Engineer Arrested For Allegedly Handing Over Nuclear Secrets Had A BLM Sign In His Yard

This is treason at a high level.

A Navy Engineer and his wife were both arrested by the FBI after they were  allegedly caught selling nuclear secrets to an undercover FBI agent who was undercover as a foreign official.

Jonathan Toebbe and his wife were both arrested and charged for espionage after handing handing over nuclear submarine secrets to a FBI operative at a drop off location.

Toebbe was paid for the nuclear secrets in cryptocurrency and after the FBI was able to recite nuclear secrets from Toebbe several time they eventually arrested him and his Diana.

ABC 7 News reported the story and even took a picture outside of the Toebbe’s house which revealed they had a BLM sign in front of their house.

Leave it to BLM supporters to attempt to hand over nuclear secrets to one of the United State’s enemies.

Fox News had more on the story:

The Facebook account appearing to belong to the woman who was charged alongside her Navy nuclear engineer husband with selling secret information about nuclear submarines to an undercover FBI agent is filled with liberal talking points on the Black Lives Matter movement and feminism.

Fox News examined what appears to be Diana Toebbe’s Facebook page, Twitter account and Instagram page, and found repeated posts supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, including a profile picture reading, “Black Lives Matter,” and a post last year celebrating the social media protest against racism called “#blackouttuesday.”

Jonathan and Diana Toebbe were arrested Saturday in West Virginia, according to a criminal complaint detailing espionage-related charges. The government said Jonathan Toebbe sold information for nearly the past year to a contact he believed represented a foreign power, but was actually an undercover FBI agent.

Reuters got the scoop too:

A U.S. Navy nuclear engineer and his wife have been charged with selling secret information about nuclear submarines to an undercover FBI agent who posed as an operative for a foreign country, the Justice Department said on Sunday.

Jonathan Toebbe and his wife, Diana, were arrested on Saturday in West Virginia and charged with violating the Atomic Energy Act, the Justice Department said in a statement. They are scheduled to appear in a West Virginia federal court on Tuesday.

Toebbe, 42, a Navy nuclear engineer with top secret security clearance, sent a package of restricted data to an unidentified country in 2020 and later began selling secrets for tens of thousands of dollars in cryptocurrency to an undercover FBI agent posing as a foreign official, the Justice Department said.

At one point, Toebbe hid a digital memory card containing documents about submarine nuclear reactors in half a peanut butter sandwich at a “dead drop” location in West Virginia, while his wife acted as lookout, the Justice Department said.
