The C.I.A. Plot Against Julian Assange’s Life

“When it becomes a crime to expose criminals, you are ruled by criminals”. -Author unknown.

Whether it be Snowden, Assange, or any other whistleblower, The United States government is hellbent on stifling dissent, and obscuring any attention to the crimes it commits on a constant basis.

Crimes against its own people, and crimes against humanity.

They tell us that it’s for ‘national security’, but droning innocent people in Baghdad, Afghanistan, Syria, or anywhere else simply creates more hatred for us, breeds new generations of terrorists, and compromises national security.

Spying on your own people, and thus creating enmity and even more distrust between the people and the government makes the country less stable.

So excuse me if I don’t buy that statist hog-swill about ‘national security’.

The Fact is we are probably less safe today thanks to the folks at The C.I.A. and The F.B.I.

New reports are surfacing which show that The C.I.A. was plotting to kidnap or murder Julian Assange because of his many leaks to the public.

Leaks which probably saved this country from the clutches of Hillary Clinton……

Love him or hate him, we owe a great debt to Assange for what he did—had he not, we might be living in a sort of Australia right now.

Here’s more on the story:

The plot was reported by Yahoo News:

Some senior officials inside the CIA and the Trump administration even discussed killing Assange, going so far as to request “sketches” or “options” for how to assassinate him. Discussions over kidnapping or killing Assange occurred “at the highest levels” of the Trump administration, said a former senior counterintelligence official. “There seemed to be no boundaries.”

The conversations were part of an unprecedented CIA campaign directed against WikiLeaks and its founder. The agency’s multipronged plans also included extensive spying on WikiLeaks associates, sowing discord among the group’s members, and stealing their electronic devices.

NATIONAL POLL: Do You Still Have Trump's Back 100%?

President Trump’s newly installed CIA director, Mike Pompeo, was seeking revenge on WikiLeaks and Assange, who had sought refuge in the Ecuadorian Embassy since 2012 to avoid extradition to Sweden on rape allegations he denied. Pompeo and other top agency leaders “were completely detached from reality because they were so embarrassed about Vault 7,” said a former Trump national security official. “They were seeing blood.”

Big League Politics had this to say:

The CIA’s cavalier plans targeting Assange were ultimately shot down by Trump White House lawyers. Some CIA personnel concerned with the legality of kidnapping and assassination plots also brought the matter to the attention of members of Congress. The Department of Justice also worried outlandish plots to kidnap or assassinate Assange would ruin attempts to prosecute him for alleged involvement in plots to release classified information.

Assange is most known for exposing internal Democratic Party communications that revealed the party’s 2016 presidential primary was rigged against Bernie Sanders in favor of Hillary Clinton.
