AOC Cries on House Floor After Changing Vote From ‘No’ to ‘Present’ on Funding Israel’s Iron Dome

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was caught crying on cue again, this time over the House vote on funding Israel’s Iron Dome.

AOC originally voted no, but changed her vote at the last second when it was clear that the funding for Israel’s missile defense system was going to pass easily.

After which, AOC was seen crying and being consoled by colleagues.

The final vote was 420-9.

Only one republican voted against the bill along with eight democrats.

AOC and Hank Johnson were the only two to vote ‘present.’

Many are questioning AOC’s theatrical performance following the vote.

The Post Millennial has more on AOC's latest breakdown:

On Thursday, the House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly to approve $1 billion in new funding for Israel's Iron Dome defense system following disapproval from progressive Democrats who say Israel is violating human rights with this anti-rocket defense system.

According to Forbes, the final vote came to 420 to 9, with eight Democrats, as well as one Republican, voting against the funding. Two Democrats, Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Hank Johnson of Georgia, voted present. Ocasio-Cortez reportedly voted against the funding initially, then changed her vote. She could be seen crying after she changed her vote from "no" to "present."

The New York Congresswoman memorably slammed former House Rep. Tulsi Gabbard for voting "present" on President Trump's impeachment.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who often opposes US aid to Israel and voted against the measure, argued that the funding would enable "warcrimes, human rights abuses, and violence."

AOC's acting chops aren't very impressive, but she's perfected the act of crying on cue.

Fox News has more on AOC's reaction:

Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.; Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.; Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass.; Cori Bush, D-Mo.; André Carson, D-Ind.; Marie Newman, D-Ill., Raúl Grijalva, D-Ariz.; Chuy Garcia, D-Ill.; and Thomas Massie, R-Ky., all voted against the bill.

Ocasio-Cortez was a "no" vote until she changed her vote to "present" at the last second. Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., also voted "present.

After huddling with allies, during which time multiple other House members appeared to approach Ocasio-Cortez to comfort her, the congresswoman walked to a different part of the floor where she received a hug from yet another member.

Ocasio-Cortez's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News about the moment on the House floor.

Many questioned AOC's motivation for changing her vote at the last moment, and then making a scene of it.
