The U.S. State Department Is Upset With The Taliban, But Not For The Reasons We Would Expect

I can think of a million reasons why a Taliban government won’t work out…..

Like the fact that they are straight out of the 7th century, and have little to no education.

This was made abundantly clear early on when Taliban officials were begging people not to leave Afghanistan because they needed the brain power.

We left them a full fleet of high end military vehicles and weapons, yet when these things break they will not be able to fix them, and this is why they are turning to China and Iran….

This lack of knowledge and resources is pretty much embodied in a recent Al-Jazeera video I watched , where the translator attempting to decode Taliban messages into english spoke in the most broken english I have ever heard.

What followed was a nearly 30 minute broadcast from a major news organization that was unwatchable and made absolutely no sense.

Anyone with half a brain knows that Taliban forces will not make an effective government, and like I said, it isn’t very hard to see why, but that isn’t why The U.S. State Department is upset—nope!

The U.S. State Department is reportedly upset by a lack of women in the new Taliban government…..

That’s like expressing concern that there aren’t any Jews in Hitler’s Nazi Party.

You can’t make this stuff up, when I first came across this news, I thought it was an article from The Babylon Bee, but here we are:

The scene was perfectly captured by The Epoch Times:

“We note the announced list of names consists exclusively of individuals who are members of the Taliban or their close associates and no women. We also are concerned by the affiliations and track records of some of the individuals,” a spokesperson for the U.S. State Department said in a statement.

“We understand that the Taliban has presented this as a caretaker cabinet. However, we will judge the Taliban by its actions, not words.”

The UK echoed U.S. concerns about the new government.

“We would want to see, in any situation, a diverse group in leadership which seeks to address the pledges that the Taliban themselves have set out, and that’s not what we have seen,” a spokesman for UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said. “We will continue to judge the Taliban on their actions.”

The Taliban continues to abuse women demanding women’s rights according to left-wing CNN:

Taliban fighters used whips and sticks against a group of women protesting in Kabul on Wednesday following the announcement of a hardline, male-only interim government, in the group’s latest crackdown on dissent in Afghanistan.

Videos and images received by CNN show the women chanting, “Long live the women of Afghanistan.”
Some held placards declaring “No government can deny the presence of women” and “I will sing freedom over and over.”
