Pelosi BLOCKS It: Nancy REFUSES to Let the Names of 13 Marines Be Read Aloud on House Floor

What ever happened to “Say their names”?

During the summer of 2020, we were repeatedly told to “say their names.”

This is referring to the black men killed by police, some of whom were criminals.

But now that 13 American heroes have died, no one wants to say their names.

Where is Hollywood demanding accountability?

And why is Nancy Pelosi now BLOCKING the reading of the names?

Republicans wanted to read the names of the 13 fallen Marines on the House floor.

They also wanted a moment of silence to honor our fallen heroes.

But Nancy Pelosi BLOCKED it.

She will not allow the 13 names to be read aloud on the House floor:

Why would Pelosi do this?

Well, it appears that she wants to protect Biden.

The Democrats don’t want to admit that Afghanistan was and is a disaster that Biden created.

They want to sweep it under the rug.

Along with our fallen heroes.

Even foreign news sources are picking up on her unconscionable decision.

According to The Sun:

NANCY Pelosi has been blasted after she was accused of refusing to let the names of the 13 fallen US service members be read out on the House floor.

A number of Republican lawmakers called the House Speaker out on Tuesday, saying she had “blocked” the tribute to the troops who died in a terrorist attack in Afghanistan last week.

Rep. Carlos Gimenez tweeted on Tuesday: “How badly do Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats want to cover up this Afghanistan debacle?

“They just blocked Members of Congress from reading the names of the service members who sacrificed their lives in Afghanistan last week.

“Don’t you think our military deserves better?”

The troops lost their lives after ISIS released a suicide bomber into the grounds near Kabul airport where the US was helping innocent Afghans escape the Taliban-ruled city.

Rep. Brian Mast told The Floridian: “We gaveled in, had a prayer, said the Pledge of Allegiance, took a moment of silence with pretty much all Republican veterans, then asked to be recognized to read names and bring up Afghanistan legislation.

“They did not acknowledge us, and just closed the House down.”

And Rep. Greg Steube tweeted: “House Democrats just refused to recognize Republican veterans on the House Floor to read the names of our fallen service members in Afghanistan.

“That’s how far our nation has fallen.”

The 11 fallen Marines were identified as Rylee McCollum, Nicole Gee, Dylan Merola, Kareem Nikoui, Jared Schmitz, Humberto Sanchez, Hunter Lopez, Taylor Hoover, Daegan Page, Johanny Rosario Pichardo, and 20-year-old David Lee Espinoza. A fallen US Navy medic has been identified as Max Soviak. Finally, a US Army soldier named Ryan Knauss was also killed.

The Sun has Pelosio’s office for comment.

This truly shows us that the Democrat party is Joe Biden’s party.

They will protect him and his regime at all costs.

Forget about honor and accountability.

They will circle the wagons to protect each other even after our brave men and women have died for them.

But that’s not all.

The story gets worse, if you can believe it.

There will be NO accountability for Afghanistan.

How do we know this?

Republicans attempted to introduce an accountability bill.

But that was also blocked.

According to Yahoo News:

A symbolic attempt by House Republicans to bring forward a bill to demand answers of President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan was blocked in the House on Tuesday.

Rep. Mike Gallagher, a Wisconsin Republican and Marine veteran who served in Iraq, attempted to bring the bill for consideration during a pro forma session of the House.

The bill includes a request for a plan from the administration on how they will bring the remaining estimated more than 100 Americans in Afghanistan home, an accounting of all the equipment left behind, and transparency on any deals or agreements made by the Biden administration with the Taliban. It also states that it is the sense of Congress that the Taliban should not be recognized as the government of Afghanistan and would place a prohibition on any support or assistance to the Taliban.

The House is not scheduled to return to floor activity until Sept. 20. During congressional recesses, pro forma sessions consist of gaveling in and out within minutes or seconds in order to fulfill technical requirements and aims.

More than 30 House Republicans gathered on the House Floor on Tuesday. After a moment of silence for the 13 service members who lost their lives in an ISIS-K bombing last week, they attempted recognition by the chairman, who gaveled out without acknowledging them.

“How can you not read the names?” one member yelled. Another exclaimed: “Turn your back on our country.”

Republicans had expected the bill to be blocked on Tuesday but hope that bipartisan support can grow for the bill as they start on a variety of actions to hold the Biden administration accountable for the chaotic withdrawal that included the deaths of 13 U.S. service members and more than 100 Afghans after an ISIS-K suicide bombing last week.

“Now is not the time to act like you could not see us on the floor,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said in a press conference after the attempt. “Now is not the time to hide. We are a co-equal branch.”

This is a travesty.

This is a shame.

And we all know that this would never have happened under the strong leadership of President Donald J. Trump!
