I want everyone to consider something for a second….
It is widely accepted by liberals that organic food is head and shoulders above GMO and non-organic foods.
The reasoning behind this is that natural things are far better than the genetically modified and chemically loaded alternatives that we create in laboratories to boost profit and output.
Can’t argue there, this is perfectly rational, and well documented. All of us know that it’s better to eat close to the ground than to buy some packaged synthetic products, full of chemicals, from multi-national corporations.

This same reasoning seems to go out the window when we talk about vaccines vs natural immunity.
A new study from Israel has found that having a prior Covid infection protects individuals from the Delta strain better than Pfizer’s vaccine.
Why anyone would be surprised by this, I’m not really sure, but share this article with your liberal friends and note the meltdown that they have over this very simple and common sense study.
I want to take the time to point out that the benefits of natural immunity probably compound over time. Right now we have this study that shows natural immunity is better than Pfizer’s vaccine against the Delta strain.
We already know that other strains have been discovered in Israel, and it probably won’t be long before those strains impact the general public in some countries.
Are people really going to line up to take 2-3 shots per new strain? Strains that will likely emerge as constantly as new strains of the common cold?
OR is it simply better for them to build a natural and lasting immunity to Covid in general?
Natural immunity IS the gold standard. I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice, at the end of the day you must make the choices that you know are right for you, but before you make those choices consider all the arguments:
In Israel, vaccinated individuals had 27 times higher risk of symptomatic COVID infection compared to those with natural immunity from prior COVID disease [95%CI:13-57, adjusted for time of vaccine/disease]. No COVID deaths in either group.https://t.co/hopImCD1D0

The study was highlighted by The Epoch Times:
“This analysis demonstrated that natural immunity affords longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease, and hospitalization due to the Delta variant,” researchers from Maccabi Healthcare and Tel Aviv University said.
“This is the largest real-world observational study comparing natural immunity, gained through previous SARS-CoV-2 infection, to vaccine-induced immunity, afforded by the BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine,” they added.
Researchers found that people fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine were 13.06 times more likely to contract the Delta variant of the CCP virus, and 27.02 times at risk of symptomatic disease, compared to those who had recovered from a previous infection of COVID-19. The figures apply when comparing cases where the first vaccination or infection occurred between January and February 2021.

Science Mag.Org writes:
The study, conducted in one of the most highly COVID-19–vaccinated countries in the world, examined medical records of tens of thousands of Israelis, charting their infections, symptoms, and hospitalizations between 1 June and 14 August, when the Delta variant predominated in Israel. It’s the largest real-world observational study so far to compare natural and vaccine-induced immunity to SARS-CoV-2, according to its leaders.
The research impresses Nussenzweig and other scientists who have reviewed a preprint of the results, posted yesterday on medRxiv. “It’s a textbook example of how natural immunity is really better than vaccination,” says Charlotte Thålin, a physician and immunology researcher at Danderyd Hospital and the Karolinska Institute who studies the immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 . “To my knowledge, it’s the first time [this] has really been shown in the context of COVID-19.”
