Light night television hosts used to tell jokes about both the left and the right but now it’s just hot bed for liberal propaganda disguised as “jokes”.
Late night TV host Stephen Colbert recently took it upon himself to go on his show and compare the Taliban to Trump supporters.
Colbert was quoted saying “Why should our soldiers be fighting radicals in a Civil War in Afghanistan? We’ve got our own on Capitol Hill”.
Of course his cheap joke was met with a round of applause because more than likely the audience was cued to do so.
Check out the the moment he said it here:

Nothing is mentioned about Biden’s horrible withdrawal plan by the way.
It’s almost as if the White House are now the writers at his show.

The Daily Wire had more on the story:
The late night CBS host is arguably the most popular celebrity comparing some Americans to the Taliban, though he’s by no means the only one.
On Monday night, the comedian expressed agreement with President Biden’s widely criticized speech in which he argued that the Taliban’s almost-immediate recapture of the region doesn’t mean it wasn’t the right decision.
“We have had troops there for 20 years,” Colbert said. “They fought, they sacrificed, their families sacrificed so that we wouldn’t have a terrorist attack in America planned in a foreign country.” He then added, “Why should our soldiers be fighting radicals in a civil war in Afghanistan? We’ve got our own on Capitol Hill.”
Wow, Stephen Colbert is cruel and heartless. He likens 74 million Trump supporters to Taliban terrorists and perpetuates President Biden's victim-blaming of Afghan soldiers, 50,000+ of whom indeed had "the will to fight," and died because of it.
Just awful. https://t.co/ywGyVbATV5

Other users on Twitter compared the Taliban to Trump supporters too:
Taliban or Trump supporters! Hard to tell! pic.twitter.com/dd4WRrFVNw

I'd just like to point out that the Taliban targeted, recruited & radicalized their supporters & followers utilizing social media – namely, FB, in the same way Trump & Russia targeted, recruited & radicalized the MAGA TERRORISTS who stormed our Capitol.

Insanely familiar. Shocking how much trump supporters have in common with the Taliban. https://t.co/f3mTwJdAJp

The people who are comparing Trump supporters to the Taliban have no idea of the horrors the Taliban has caused on women and Christians all throughout Afghanistan.
