President Trump On Ashli Babbitt’s Shooter: “We KNOW Who He Is”

We KNOW who he is……

President Trump says that the identity of Ashli Babbitt’s murderer is not a mystery, at least not to him, Ashli’s family and her legal counsel.

He also vowed justice against the alleged shooter, and points out that if this situation were somehow reversed we would not hear the end of it in the mainstream media….

Everyone knows this to be true.

Right now there is no justice for Ashli, but if Ashli were murdered at some protest against President Trump, we would never hear the end of it.

Here’s what President Trump had to say:

Axios had more on the story:

Former President Trump issued a statement Wednesday criticizing law enforcement who responded to the Capitol insurrection and praising Ashli Babbitt, who was fatally shot while participating in the riot.

Babbitt was one of five people to die as a result of the Jan. 6 Capitol attack that caused some $500 million in damage to the building and resulted in the arrests of hundreds of people.

The Justice Department found insufficient evidence to support criminal prosecution against the officer who shot Babbitt in a shoulder as she tried to enter the Speaker’s Lobby through a door’s broken window.

Lt. Byrd, the officer suspected of shooting Ashli Babbitt, recently made headlines over at Fox News:

A U.S. Capitol police officer reportedly is under review Thursday after somehow leaving his Glock 22 pistol inside the bathroom of the structure’s visitor center earlier this week.

Lt. Mike Byrd forgot to take the weapon with him upon leaving the restroom Monday and it was found “during a routine security sweep” later in the day, officials told Roll Call.

“The Department takes these matters very seriously, and has a very thorough process to investigate and review incidents such as these, and holds personnel accountable for their actions,” Capitol Police spokeswoman Eva Malecki said.
