We all knew this was coming.
Antifa claims it’s against racism and who knows what else but what it is actually against is morality of any kind.
And when you’re against morality, ultimately, you attack the source.
Christianity.

On Saturday, Antifa thugs attacked a Christian open-air meeting in Portland destroying property, cursing the cops in the name of Jesus, and spraying the pastor with mace.
Here are some of the details, according to Fox News:
The first instance of violence happened Saturday at an open-air event planned at Tom McCall Waterfront Park near the Battleship Oregon Memorial to be hosted by Artur Pawlowski, a traveling preacher who’s been arrested in Canada for holding in-person worship services in violation of coronavirus restrictions. Several Antifa Twitter accounts tweeted about the planned event, the Post Millennial reported, and videos posted online showed that a crowd of demonstrators dressed in black bloc attire showed up at the waterfront to confront worshippers.
Dozens of people carrying black umbrellas and shields are seen spraying red and yellow gas at the group of worshippers, as other Antifa members steal sound equipment, lawn chairs and wagons left across the lawn by families who had come to listen to the pastor speak.
“All Cops are B*******, in the name of Jesus,” a male’s voice is heard saying during the melee.
Children, including toddlers, were in attendance at the worship event when the group of Antifa demonstrators began throwing projectiles, including eggs, one woman told a videographer at the scene.
“They threw a flash bomb into a group of kids who were out there,” she said.
A male worshipper said a pastor had walked up to ask the group of demonstrators to stop — but he was pepper sprayed. The woman is seen attending the pastor’s eyes covered by an orange substance.
Shocking video recorded in Portland show a large group of antifa carrying shields & weapons move in to attack & shut down a family Christian prayer & worship event on the waterfront. Police did not intervene. https://t.co/8JZuI1LPHo

I have seen videos like these in third world, anti-Christian or communist countries.
While I cannot say I’m surprised it is happening here, I have to say it is still horrifying.
Where is was the police while this was happening?
They’ve left.
This is the anarchy that comes out of the Defund the Police movement.
According to the National Review:
Police departments across the country are seeing more resignations and retirements as public sentiment turned against police officers in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, police officials told the Journal. The defund the police movement also gained traction, although a May poll found that the majority of Portland residents oppose decreased police presence in the city. Officers often risk putting themselves in harm’s way, as politically-driven retaliation against police also increased between 2020 and 2021.
After a year of unrest following Floyd’s death, the Portland police spent more than $12 million responding to mass demonstrations and riots, not including property damage and reconstruction expenses private business owners and the city incurred.
In April, Portland allocated nearly $6 million to curbing gun violence in the city without directing funds to the police department, instead giving grants to non-profits groups to work with Portland’s Office of Violence Prevention and the Parks and Recreation bureau.
If giving Portland or Seattle to Antifa would solve the problem, I would tell them to take it.
But darkness always has a need to spread, unless the light shines brighter.
This is going to spread into our communities, and no church is safe.
We need to pray, we need to speak, we need to vote.
We need change and most importantly…
We need God.
