Andy Biggs Will File Impeachment Articles AGAINST DHS Chief

Andy Biggs is doing more than Kamala Harris in addressing the border crisis….

While she laughs in D.C., there is an unprecedented crisis ravaging our southern border, and if a government cannot even protect its own borders than what purpose does that government serve?

We have all seen the videos and read reports of massive migrant crossings at the border, and many of us have no doubt read the reports of the border patrol officers who have lost their lives as a result.

All of this, and we still have a silent DHS, but that may not be the case for too much longer.

Rep.Biggs will reportedly be filing articles of impeachment against the current DHS Chief in the near future:

Fox News had more on the proposed articles of impeachment against The DHS Chief:

Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., announced Friday that he intends to file articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, citing the administration’s handling of the crisis at the southern border.

“Secretary Mayorkas is a threat to the sovereignty and security of our nation,” Biggs said in a statement. “As a result of his actions and policies, America is more in danger today than when he began serving as Secretary.”

Biggs is not the first Republican to criticize the administration, and Mayorkas specifically, for the crisis at the southern border — which has seen a dramatic surge in migrant encounters that has shown little sign of slowing down. However, introducing articles of impeachment would be an escalation of that criticism.

Week after week, the Biden administration proposes or pursues policies that are only making the crisis at the border more dire. Recent reporting indicates that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released more than 50,000 illegal immigrants into the U.S. without issuing a formal notice to appear.

They are so overwhelmed with the number of aliens crossing the border that they simply do not have the time to issue a court date. Instead, illegal aliens are asked to voluntarily show up at a local DHS/Immigration and Customs Enforcement office. Thus far, only 13 percent have shown up, which is no surprise. This administration is destroying the rule of law along our southwest border.

We are also hearing from administration officials that they are seriously considering removing Title 42 authority, which would increase the number of illegal immigrants in DHS custody and would likely cause another surge to the border.
