You know what I think of this commission?
It’s bogus. A complete partisan horse and pony show.
Liberals who didn’t understand what the word ‘insurrection’ meant in December made it a central part of their vocabulary after January 6th, and this commission set to ‘investigate’ is just wasting time.
According to reports, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is threatening to pull ALL republican members from the commission. Why?

Because Pelosi reportedly refuses to accept 2 GOP members chosen by McCarthy for the commission.
If Pelosi doesn’t want them on, then they absolutely need to be there, but right now she still isn’t budging, and neither is Representative McCarthy.

Axios reports:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Wednesday that she rejects Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy’s naming of Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Jim Banks (R-Ind.) to the select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, citing their objection to President Biden’s Electoral College victory.
The latest: “Pelosi has broken the institution” with her actions, McCarthy said at a Wednesday press conference. Unless she reverses course and seats all five GOP nominees, “Republicans will not be party to their sham process and will instead pursue our own investigation of the facts,” he noted in a separate statement.
Asked for her response, Pelosi told reporters at the Capitol: “We have a bipartisan quorum. We can proceed.”

The Epoch Times also mentioned:
No one has been charged with terrorism in the breach. More than 500 people have been charged with crimes including obstruction of Congress, assault, and disorderly conduct. One man was sentenced to eight months in jail this week for entering the Capitol and waving a flag.
Cheney told reporters outside the Capitol later Wednesday that “there must be an investigation that is nonpartisan, that is sober, that is serious, that gets to the facts, wherever they may lead.”
“And at every opportunity, the minority leader has attempted to prevent the American people from understanding what happened to block this investigation,” she said, adding that she backed Pelosi’s move.
