Fauci Could Be Heading To Prison For Lying To Congress

Fauci’s bad habit of not telling the truth could end up landing him in prison.

Senator Rand Paul who also just happens to be a doctor is filing a criminal referral letter to the Department of Justice about Fauci.

Sen. Rand Paul made his announcement in an interview with Sean Hannity and said his reason for sending a criminal referral letter to the DoJ is because Fauci “lied to Congress”.

Earlier in the day Sen. Ran Paul stated that the NIH funded gain of function research that was happening at the Wuhan Institute of Virology but Fauci denied that the NIH was funding gain of function research.

Senator Rand Paul started off  the hearing by reminding Fauci that if he lies to Congress he could be sentenced to prison up to 5 years.

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) told Sean Hannity on Fox News Tuesday night that he would be sending a criminal referral letter to the Department of Justice about Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Hannity reference Paul’s comments earlier in the day during a fiery hearing on Capitol Hill about the COVID-19 pandemic and asked the Senator, “You kicked off your questioning of Dr. Fauci emphasizing federal law makes lying to Congress, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. Is your belief based on the evidence Senator that he lied before Congress and broke the law?”

Paul replied, “Yes, and I will be sending a letter to the department of justice asking for a criminal referral because he has lied to Congress.”

The Senator said on Fox News Primetime that medical experts who have differing opinions than Dr. Fauci regarding COVID-19 won’t go public with their dissent fearing that it will affect their funding.
Paul said, “He’s been there for 40 years, probably 39 years too long, but he controls all the funding, so people are deathly afraid of him.”

Fauci should rot in a prison cell for the rest of his life.

Senator Rand Paul has said he is writing to the Justice Department seeking ‘a criminal referral’ for Dr Anthony Fauci, accusing the nation’s top public health official of having lied to Congress.

Paul, a libertarian Republican who has frequently sparred with Fauci, engaged in a blazing row with the health official on Tuesday.

Both men ended up calling the other a liar in a remarkable exchange during a Senate hearing.

On Tuesday night Paul told Fox News he wanted to take the matter further.

‘I will be sending a letter to Department of Justice asking for a criminal referral because he has lied to congress,’ Paul told Sean Hannity.
