9/11 Families Disgusted That Democrats & Mainstream Media Continuously Say 1/6 Capitol Riots Was Worse

Democrats and left-wing media pundits say a lot of stupid things.

And I mean A LOT of stupid things.

But this one likely takes the cake.

Recently, multiple left-wing voices have cried that the January 6th Capitol Riots was worse for our country than the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Check out some of the absurdities spoken on left-wing media:

Not only is that an idiotic statement, but it belittles the 3,000+ lives lost on 9/11.

How many people died during the Capitol Riots?

5!

3 died of natural causes.

1 died of a drug overdose.

And 1 person was fatally shot.

To say that 1/6 was a threat on American democracy is a left-wing political cry to demonize conservative individuals as domestic terrorists.

They want to warp the minds of sheep to believe anyone who favors conservatism is a threat to the State.

And one interview mentions that the Capitol Riots resembled fascism?

No, what we have now in the White House mimics fascism.

When you have the federal government working with social media companies to censor free speech.

That’s a fascist state.

These left-wing imbeciles are dehumanizing every last innocent 9/11 victim and their families with the nonsense comparison.

When retired New York Deputy Fire Chief Jim Riches speaks about it, the anger and sadness in his voice is unmistakable.

It’s been nearly 20 years since his son Jimmy was among the 343 New York firefighters to die at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The 9/11 terrorist attacks by Al Qaeda killed nearly 3,000 people, launched wars, and changed the world.

But since the January 6 Capitol riot, when a mob of Donald Trump supporters stormed the building to disrupt certification of Joe Biden’s election victory, some commentators and reporters have claimed it’s not just on par with the 9/11 attacks, but actually even worse.

Riches and other family members of victims told Fox News they’re disgusted when they hear of the two events even being compared, let alone suggesting the riot, while stunning and disgraceful, was the darker day.

“It’s a shame,” he said. “Are they kidding me? 3,000 people died, plus we have more people dying from the air that was down there … They’re comparing it to score points politically. The families are really [angry]. When I talk to them, when they compare it to that, they find that outrageous.”

It’s become a trend in some liberal circles since the riot to liken it to 9/11, citing that it was a direct attack on the democratic process. The widely condemned assault came on the heels of weeks of unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud by Trump and his supporters. Rioters smashed windows, beat law enforcement officers, and were heard voicing threats at Vice President Mike Pence, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and other politicians.

Democratic lawmakers repeatedly intoned they wanted a “9/11-style” commission to investigate the Capitol attack. Left-wing pundit and former George W. Bush strategist Matthew Dowd recently argued the riot was worse because it’s divided the country. Lincoln Project co-founder and Republican-turned-independent-turned-Democratic strategist Steve Schmidt said not only that Dowd was right, but that the riot was worse because it would end up leading to a greater loss of life.

Several left-wing commenters have dared to make the brash comparison between the terrorist attacks that rocked the nation on September 11, 2001, with the riots on January 6, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol. Some left-leaning pundits went so far as to proclaim that the Capitol riots were more dangerous than the 9/11 terror attacks that killed nearly 3,000 Americans and the more than 1,000 New Yorkers are believed to be inflicted with cancers related to the World Trade Center attack. The brazen comparison has incensed families of those who lost loved ones from the deadliest attack on American soil.

Democratic lawmakers, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), have called for a “9/11-style” commission to investigate the Capitol riot.

ABC News political analyst Matthew Dowd said the Capitol riot was “worse than 9/11.”

“To me, though there was less loss of life on Jan. 6 – Jan. 6 was worse than 9/11 because it’s continued to rip our country apart and give permission for people to pursue autocratic means,” Dowd claimed during an appearance on the left-wing cable network MSNBC.

Dowd then claimed, “I think we’re in the most perilous point in time since 1861 and the advent of the Civil War.” far-left MSNBC host Joy Reid agreed, “I do too.”

Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt agreed with Dowd that the Jan. 6 Capitol riot was worse than the 9/11 terror attacks that ignited multiple wars, where thousands of U.S. troops died.

“He couldn’t be more right,” Schmidt said of Dowd’s assessment. “The 1/6 attack for the future of the country was a profoundly more dangerous event than the 9/11 attacks. And in the end, the 1/6 attacks are likely to kill a lot more Americans than were killed in the 9/11 attacks, which will include the casualties of the wars that lasted 20 years following.”
