The democrat driven narrative behind the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine is crumbling.
Since it was revealed that three of the fully vaccinated fugitive Texas democrats who fled the state to avoid voting on an election integrity bill had tested positive for COVID-19, two more of the dems have now also tested positive.
This comes after the first three came into contact with Kamala Harris, who refused to quarantine, and then ended up at Walter Reed Medical Center.
Democrats continue to push the narrative that only unvaccinated people can get the virus, which is now proven to be a blatant lie.
The Texas democrats had previously posted a photo showing them all on a private plane without masks.
The democrats continue to reveal themselves as hypocrites and liars.
Fox News has more on this embarassing display from the dems, and the consequences of their own hypocrisy:
Two more Texas Democrats have tested positive for coronavirus during their trip to Washington, D.C., just one day after three of their colleagues learned they had contracted the virus as well.
According to the Texas Tribune, the number of COVID-positive Texas state lawmakers in the nation's capital is now five. The news comes on the same day that Vice President Kamala Harris dropped by Walter Reed Medical Center for a "routine" visit after meeting with the group of lawmakers just last week.
The group of Democrats fled the Lone Star State to deny Republicans in the state legislature a quorum, which refers to the minimum number of lawmakers needed to carry out legislative business.
The lawmakers thereby obstructed Republicans’ attempt to pass election integrity legislation that the Democrats disliked.
They traveled by plane to Washington, D.C., garnering national attention, and were criticized for pictures that appeared to show them traveling without masks.
In total, more than 50 state lawmakers made the trip and were said to be tested after news of the first confirmed case broke last week.
Here's more from the New York Post:
Two more Texas Democrats who have been in Washington, DC, since last week in an effort to prevent a vote on a GOP-backed election reform bill have tested positive for the coronavirus, bringing the total to five infected state lawmakers, many of whom visited with Vice President Kamala Harris.
The new cases, announced late Sunday by the director of the Texas House Democratic Caucus, are in addition to the three other state Democratic lawmakers on the trip who have already tested positive for COVID-19.
Of the infected lawmakers, all of whom are fully vaccinated, only one is experiencing mild symptoms, caucus director Phillip Martin said Sunday.
The group, who flew to the nation’s capital on a private jet, are expected to stay in DC for a month.
The Democrats flew to the nation’s capital to press Congress to pass federal election reform legislation that would supersede the Texas bill as well as other election integrity laws in states like Georgia.
The Texas state Senate approved the sweeping bill Tuesday night, one day after dozens of House Democrats fled the state to prevent the chamber from taking up the legislation.
The state Senate approved the bill on an 18-4 party-line vote. Nine Senate Democrats had joined 51 of their House colleagues in hightailing it to Washington, DC, though this was not enough to deny the upper chamber a quorum.
However, the legislation is now stalled due to the lack of a quorum in the House.
