Could the 2nd French Revolution be upon us?
On the anniversary of Bastille Day, the public holiday that recognizes the storming of the Bastille that kicked off the 1789 French Revolution, French citizens were up in arms once again.
The latest round of riots was due to President Emmanuel Macron’s experimental COVID-19 vaccine mandate and vaccine passport requirement for most public places.
Macron mandated the experimental jabs for French healthcare workers and didn’t rule out mandating them for all French citizens.
Starting in August, normal life would be virtually impossible for French citizens who refuse to take part in this medical experiment.
And this was the reaction across France:

Interesting how the populist uprising protests in France don't get the same attention as the populist uprisings in Cuba.
huh, its almost as if there is an agenda!

If you have information about vaccine protests in France, please let me know. The media is likely to do everything possible to ignore them, just as it did the anti-lockdown protests in the UK.

Infowars reported:
French citizens rioted in response to plans by President Macron to mandate vaccine passports to enter venues like shopping malls, restaurants bars, hospitals, bars, cafés and access public transport.
As we highlighted yesterday, people will have to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to enter any of these sites from August onwards.
Given that they would have to cover the bill for every single PCR test, the restrictions would make the vaccine de facto mandatory for anyone who wants to live a normal life.
People in Paris responded on Bastille Day with an unruly protest that led to French police using tear gas to disperse the demonstrators.
“The police stepped in shortly after scores of protesters marched down a boulevard in central Paris on Wednesday without permission from the Paris authorities,” reports Reuters. “Some wore badges saying “No to the health pass”.
Police vans and riot police also blocked off roads in an attempt to prevent the procession of the protest.
There were also riots and protests after the French government previously tried to make taking the vaccination a condition of using public transport, leading to the proposed bill being shelved.
It remains to be seen whether the unrest will build and force Macron into another U-turn.
France was beset with many months of Yellow Vest protests that began in late 2018 and only ended in March 2020 due to the first COVID-19 lockdown.
The Gilets Jaunes is a populist movement that unifies concerns shared by both the left and right, meaning it could rise again as a rebellion against COVID passes if the French government persists in mandating such draconian measures.
Reuters added this take:
Police in Paris clashed with protesters railing against President Emmanuel Macron’s plan to require a COVID-19 vaccine certificate or negative PCR test to gain entry to bars, restaurants and cinemas from next month.
Macron this week announced sweeping measures to fight a rapid surge in new coronavirus infections, including the mandatory vaccination of health workers and new health pass rules for the wider public.
In doing so, he went further than most other European nations have done as the highly contagious Delta variant fans a new wave of cases, and other governments are watching carefully to see how the French public responds. (Graphic on global cases)
The police fired tear gas on several occasions as pockets of protesters overturned garbage cans and set a mechanical digger alight. Some protesters away from the skirmishes wore badges saying “No to the health pass”.
Some critics of Macron’s plan – which will require shopping malls, cafes, bars and restaurants to check the health passes of all patrons from August – accuse the president of trampling on freedoms and discriminating against those who do not want the COVID shot.
“It’s totally arbitrary and wholly undemocratic,” said one protester who identified himself as Jean-Louis.
Macron says the vaccine is the best way to put France back on the path to normalcy and that he is encouraging as many people as possible to get inoculated.
There were protests in other cities including Nantes, Marseille and Montpellier.
The show of discontent took place on Bastille Day, the anniversary of the 1789 storming of a medieval fortress in Paris which marked the turning point in the French Revolution.
