Democrats have shown us time after time when they can’t win by the rules they just make new ones.
Multiple reports have broke out that state Democratic lawmakers in Texas have left the state in order to prevent a GOP election bill from being voted on.
The Democrats hopped onto a plan and made their way to Washington DC and held a press conference urging Democrats in the Senate to pass strong voter protections laws.
Republican state lawmakers in Texas couldn’t continue their legislative session due to the fact by law they didn’t meet the quorum(minimum amount of lawmakers needed to hold an assembly).
The democrat lawmakers even posted pictures of themselves fleeing the state:

CBS News had more on the story:
Democratic lawmakers from Texas declared Monday night that they were “determined to kill this bill” after they left the state earlier in the day to prevent a vote in the state Legislature on Republican election bills.
By leaving the state, lawmakers are preventing a quorum during the special legislative session that is being held because they scuttled the May legislative session — also by leaving — to block a sweeping elections bill.
“We are determined to kill this bill in this special session that will end on August 7. We will stay out until then in order to do that,” Texas House Democratic Caucus Chair Chris Turner said at a press conference Monday night after landing in the Washington, D.C., area. “There is no more time. We must pass strong federal voter protection legislation.”
Both bills would eliminate drive-thru and 24-hour early voting, expand early voting hours to some medium-sized counties, add identification requirements for voting by mail, increase criminal penalties for some election officials who don’t follow regulations and give more powers to poll watchers.

Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn noticed everyone was on the plane mask less and took a jab at the Democrats hypocrisy:
I’m glad to see these Texas Democrat lawmakers are supportive of my legislation to make masks optional on airplanes. https://t.co/VCfY0DSX7I

The New York Post got the scoop too:
Texas Democratic lawmakers fled the state for Washington, DC Monday in order to block Republican-backed election reform bills for a second time — setting up a standoff with Republican Gov. Greg Abbott and risking arrest by leaving during a special session.
Close to 60 of the Texas House of Representatives’ 67 Democrats departed Austin on two charter flights to the nation’s capital, where they vowed to press the Biden administration and congressional lawmakers to pass federal voting rights legislation.
KXAS reporter Scott Gordon tweeted an image of barefaced lawmakers on one of the planes, apparently defying federal rules about wearing masks while traveling.
The mass exodus would deny the Texas House a quorum when it gathers on Tuesday.
Maybe the Democrats should’ve taken a one way ticket to another country instead since they want to be traitors in their own.
