Transgender Priest Says “God Is Beautifully Non-Binary”

Friends, the church has to awake out of its slumber.

The Bible says there will come a time where there will be “false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who shall bring in damnable heresies”.

That being said, we are now living in a time where now the identity of God is even under attack by false teachers.

Rev. Sarah Jones recently stated that  “God is beautifully non-binary” and that people shouldn’t identify Him with the pronouns He/Him.

Jones’ beliefs are quite the opposite of the Bible considering in neither the Old Testament or the New Testament does it mention God is non-binary.

Yahoo News covered the story, and had these details to add:

In a wide-ranging interview with Attitude magazine, the Church of England priest revealed that she has recently started to question whether it’s correct to refer to God as “he”, as many religious denominations do.

“I grew up referring to God as ‘he’, but over the years I’ve started to question this,” Sarah Jones said.

“The creation story in Genesis, God makes humankind in our image – it’s ‘our’, the word is ‘our’. And what does God make? God makes male and female.

“If you put that together, I would say that somewhere within the heart of God is not just a ‘he’. God is beyond gender anyway, and I’d like to think that all possibilities, all of our notions of gender are somehow subsumed there and held in God.”

She added: “God is not a ‘he’. I don’t suppose God is a ‘she’, either. I think god is beautifully non-binary.”

Metro UK got the scoop too:

The UK’s first transgender vicar said she believes ‘God is beautifully non-binary’ after winning a Pride award.

Reverend Canon Sarah Jones, 58, who is in charge at the St John the Baptist Church in Cardiff, thinks God is ‘beyond gender’.

Speaking after winning a Pride award from Attitude magazine, she said: ‘If you put that together, I would say that somewhere within the heart of God is not just a “he”.

‘God is beyond gender anyway, and I’d like to think that all possibilities, all of our notions of gender are somehow subsumed there and held in God.

‘God is not a “he”. I don’t suppose God is a “she”, either. I think God is beautifully non-binary.’

There will be a time where judgement will begin in the House of God and these false teachers will be uprooted but until then we must pray for new leaders to arise within the church.

President Trump declared that  the swamp in Washington must be drained but the church must ask God to drain the pulpit of false teachers who preach liberal propaganda too.
