It seems to me like the MSM is trying to drum up fear.
Various sources all claim the Delta variant will become the main strain in The United States, and they are all saying it spreads faster and is more deadly.
Fauci doesn’t seem to be all that worried though—claiming that vaccinated people should be protected against this new “Delta” strain.
Could it be that they are just trying to drum up fear to get more people to take the jab?
They seem to be pulling out all the stops, free things, monetary incentives, perks through dating apps—the list goes on and on, so why not this? After all, fear is the most tried and true tactic of institutions like the media and government.
I could be wrong here, but I don’t really think it will be that big of a deal, but hey I could be wrong.
Here are the latest reports on the “Delta” strain:
The Epoch Times had this to say:
The head of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said the “Delta” variant of COVID-19 could become the most common strain of the virus in the United States.
“It’s more transmissible than the Alpha variant, or the UK variant, that we have here,” Dr. Rochelle Walensky told ABC News last week. “We saw that quickly become the dominant strain in a period of one or two months, and I anticipate that is going to be what happens with the Delta strain here.”
Health officials, including Walensky, have said that current COVID-19 vaccines remain effective against the strain.
The Delta variant, also known as B.1.617.2, was first identified late last year. Officials said that it spread rapidly throughout India earlier this year before spreading to dozens of other countries.
President Joe Biden, meanwhile said he doesn’t believe the Delta variant will prompt lockdowns like the ones that were authorized by state and local governments last year.
Low Vaccine areas at higher risk for dangerous "Delta" form of #COVID19!!!
Report,:
Unvaccinated Americans are at risk of an aggressive and more dangerous #Covid_19 variant. These are the most vulnerable stateshttps://t.co/doNzeoHNcs— Susan Tee (@SusanTee14) June 21, 2021
Maybe we're through with the COVID-19 Delta variant, but it's not yet through with us. Too few have been vaccinated in the U.S. to guarantee that there won't be another surge. https://t.co/WpxaLfAkZk pic.twitter.com/Mu5l2O3hKo

NPR reported what Fauci had to say:
I’m not concerned about the people who are vaccinated because the good news about all this among the seriousness of the situation with regard to the variant is that the vaccines work really quite well.
A recent study came out showing that against any clinical disease with 617, which is the Delta variant, that the efficacy or the effectiveness is somewhere close to 90% — 88, 89, 90%. Importantly, the protection against severe disease resulting in hospitalization and death is over 90%, 93, 94%.
So if you are vaccinated, you’re going to be protected, which is another very good reason to encourage people strongly to get vaccinated, because if you are not vaccinated, you are at risk of getting infected with the virus that now spreads more rapidly and gives more serious disease.
The Brits are having a very difficult time with this. They have about 90 plus percent of their isolates are the Delta. As you mentioned correctly just a moment ago, about 10% of our isolates are Delta. We want to make sure we don’t get into the same situation that people in the U.K. did.
