Guatemala: Kamala Is Greeted With Signs That Say “Trump Won” And “Go Home”

On Sunday, Kamala Harris started her two-day trip to Guatemala and Mexico in an attempt to tackle the “root causes” of the immigration crisis at the border.

As usual, she skirted invitations to visit the border where the actual crisis is occurring.

Because if someone is breaking into your house you don’t just lock the door. No, you go to their house to find out why they’re breaking into your house. Because that’s so much easier.

However, when Harris landed in Guatemala today,  she was apparently greeted by protestors with signs that said, “Kamala, Trump Won! and “Go Home!”

Embarrassing.

According to the New York Post:

Vice President Kamala Harris was greeted Monday by protesters in Guatemala telling her “Trump won” and “go home” — as the country’s president blamed President Biden for this year’s migrant crisis.

The rally was visible to Harris’ motorcade as she arrived to meet with Guatemala President Alejandro Giammattei one day after he blamed the US for luring his constituents north.

“Kamala, Trump won,” read a large sign near the Central American country’s presidential palace.

“Kamala, Mind Your Own Business,” another sign said, according to a pool report.

Images posted to Twitter show other signs, including one that tells Biden’s migration czar: “Kamala, Go Home.”

Another large sign set up by activists features a doctored photo of a pregnant Harris.

The poster read, “Guatemala is pro-life #momalahelpme.” Harris does not have biological children.

According to Fox News, Harris blamed climate and the economy for the crisis.

She did not blame the wide-open door to a richer country.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ staff on Sunday insisted that the “main drivers” of the migrant surge to the southern border are climate and the economy — as Harris arrived in Guatemala and after the Guatemalan president blamed the change in U.S. administrations for the crisis.

Harris spokesperson Symone Sanders told reporters that climate and the economy were among the “main drivers” of the surge in migrants that saw more than 178,000 migrants hit the border in April alone, a number that continued a spike in February and March.

Do you know who doesn’t agree with Kamala?

The President of the country she is talking about!

But, in an interview aired Sunday, Giammattei said he and Harris “are not on the same side of the coin” on the issue, and blamed what he saw as a more welcoming message to migrants by the new administration for the surge.

“The message changed too: ‘We’re going to reunite families, we’re going to reunite children,’” he told CBS News. “The very next day, the coyotes were here organizing groups of children to take them to the United States.”

“We asked the United States government to send more of a clear message to prevent more people from leaving,” he said.

So apparently, not only can’t she fix what’s going on at home, but the President of the country she is going to “help” says, “thanks, but you don’t know what the heck you’re talking about.”

Stop keeping your front door wide open with your 6o” plasma in full view and maybe you won’t have thieves trying to break in every hour of every day.

Or maybe, that’s really what you want.
