Rolling to Remember Event Honoring Veterans Rolls On Despite Pentagon Rebuff

The Biden team showed America yet again they are as un-American as you can get.

The Pentagon denied a permit for the Rolling to Remember motorcycle rally honoring Veterans of the U.S. Armed forces for Memorial Day.

This was the first time in 30 years that a permit was denied to honor Veterans missing in action and kept as prisoners of war!

AMVETS organizes the event and invites veterans and bikers to ride together throughout Washington DC, also raising awareness of the Veteran suicide crisis.

The Department of Defense wouldn’t allow the event to start from the Pentagon parking lot due to “pandemic concerns.”

Mayor Muriel Bowser stepped in and helped the rally find a new starting point, the RFK Stadium parking lot.

Even though they had to scramble to find a new event site, thousands showed up today at Rolling to Remember to honor our Veterans.

NBC 4 Washington has more on the story:

“Rolling to Remember, a massive motorcycle rally to honor veterans and advocate for their mental health, will be happening all weekend in the D.C. area.

A candlelight vigil at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial was held Friday night.

The big ride kicked off Sunday around midday, with bikers starting from RFK Stadium.

On Memorial Day, there will be ceremonies at major memorials and Arlington National Cemetery.

Rolling to Remember is descended from Rolling Thunder, a multi-day ride and event held in the D.C. area for decades each Memorial Day weekend. The group AMVETS (American Veterans) announced they would revive and reimagine the event after Rolling Thunder held its last ride in May 2019.

“We think [the name] strikes a good balance of something new, and also honoring what had been taking place here in Washington for three decades,” AMVETS National Executive Director and U.S. Marine Corps veteran Joe Chenelly said at the time.

Sadly, but unsurprisingly, Biden snubbed our Veterans.

Thankfully, Biden can’t shut down America’s pride for our Veterans.

Happy Memorial Day, and thank you to all who have served!

Fox News live-streamed the event, which we have for you to watch below:
