Newsom Ordered to Pay This Church 1.35 Million Dollars for Abuse of Power

Things keep getting worse for Nancy Pelosi’s nephew. Gavin Newsom allowed emergency powers to get to his head, and now he’s paying the price.

As if getting recalled was not enough, he’s reaping more fruit from his misdeeds and abuse of power.

During the pandemic, all Newsom’s edicts and decrees tended to oppress small businesses, Christians, and conservatives.

At the same time, Gavin released felons from prison, and drug addicts stayed in hotel rooms paid for by the government. All this while he wined and dined other elites at the French Laundry.

One of his worst abuses of power came against churches in California. Despite President Trump declaring churches as essential, Newsom decided that they were not.

Under the threat of punitive fines and even prison, Newsom shut down houses of faith.

It turns out churches in California weren’t as spineless as Newsom thought. HROCK Church in Pasadena, CA, decided to put its foot down and keep its doors open.

Pastor Che Ahn of HROCK greeted church members for in-person worship as city officials issued tens of thousands of dollars in fines.

The Daily Wire describes Newsom’s evil tactics to bully the church.

Mat Staver, who is the founder of the nonprofit law firm Liberty Counsel, which represented Harvest Rock Church, described Newsom as “the worst governor in America” when it comes to religious liberty.

“The church stayed open [during the lockdown], and the pastor and parishioners were threatened with daily criminal charges that were up to a year in prison,” Staver said.

The church took the fight all the way to the Supreme Court and won.

The Supreme Court ruling punched Gavin Newsom’s ego straight in the nose. They gave him five rebukes for his out-of-control behavior.

Well, it looks like Newsom’s ego is going to take another 1.35 million-dollar hit.

Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom was ordered by a federal judge to pay a $1.35 million settlement to a Los Angeles-area church in his capacity as governor because of the state’s onerous lockdown rules against houses of worship.

In addition to this, the ruling from the federal judge prevents Newsom from being able to terrorize churches ever again.

This is another excellent example of what happens when good men and women take a stand against tyranny.

I can’t wait to see Newsom out of public office for good.
