How Is This Equity? Farmer Sues Biden Administration For Denying White Farmers COVID Relief

Equity.

Keep your ears perked up for that word.

You’ve heard it a lot recently and you’re going to hear a lot more from the Kamala/Biden camp.

According to the Dictionary, the word “equity” means “the quality of being fair and impartial.”

According to the Dems, however, it means something entirely different.

Equity, according to the Biden administration apparently means, “for everyone but white people.”

The New York Post is reporting today, that a disabled farmer is allegedly suing the Biden administration for what he claims is a “racist” COVID  relief program:

A disabled Wisconsin dairy farmer is suing the Biden administration over a COVID-19 loan forgiveness program – alleging it is racist because whites aren’t eligible.

Adam Faust, a white resident of Chilton who has two prosthetic legs, is among five Midwestern farmers who recently filed a lawsuit in Green Bay that accuses the federal government of violating their constitutional rights, WLUK reported.

“Were plaintiffs eligible for the loan forgiveness benefit, they would have the opportunity to make additional investments in their property, expand their farms, purchase equipment and supplies, and otherwise support their families and local communities,” the lawsuit states.

“Because plaintiffs are ineligible to even apply for the program solely due to their race, they have been denied the equal protection of the law and therefore suffered harm,” it says.

… The American Rescue Plan provides $4 billion to forgive loans for socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers, according to the lawsuit, which alleges that “socially disadvantaged” are only those who are black, American Indian, Hispanic, Alaskan native, Asian American or Pacific Islander, WLUK reported.

“It was just out and out racist,” said Adam Faust.

The farmer, who was on Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox News on Wednesday had this:

Faust: Racism against anybody is wrong and we can’t have a government picking and choosing who they are going to give any program to based solely on the color of their skin… Everything that we have all learned growing up is racism is wrong, and now, all of a sudden, the federal government seems to think that racism is acceptable in certain ways. And it should never be acceptable.

The Babylon Bee, a conservative Christian satire website, published a humorous piece in which they portrayed the Biden administration as actually having a skin color chart to determine which people groups get the most and least relief.

Unfortunately, although satirical, they may not be that far from the truth.

Farmers are not the only people affected by this new version of equity.

According to Newsweek:

 Democratic Oakland, California Mayor Libby Schaaf, announced last month that the city would hand out a monthly guaranteed payment to its Black and Indigenous families and other people of color (“BIPOC,” as it is commonly referred to). But poor whites who live below the poverty line are not eligible. Mayor Schaaf is a member of the National Mayors for a Guaranteed Income, and she hopes to eventually export her city’s race-based basic income program throughout the nation. (Incidentally, Oakland is hardly a model of success in poverty reduction: The city has seen its poverty rate and homeless population increase after spending millions on various anti-poverty programs for decades.)

… While actively pushing CRT in classrooms, woke educators and administrators also willfully dumb down education in the name of fighting racism and achieving equity. Math, science and proper English grammar are regarded as racist. The Oregon Department of Education encourages teachers to teach “ethnomathematics” (learning how different cultures use math) because “white supremacy manifests itself in a focus on finding the right answer and demanding students to show their work.” For the woke Left, anyone who insists that “2+2=4” is a white supremacist.

Did you notice the word “equity” again?

 President Joe Biden signed four executive actions Tuesday aimed at advancing racial equity as part of his push to use the powers of the presidency to implement parts of his agenda.

The executive actions direct the Department of Housing and Urban Development to “take steps necessary to redress racially discriminatory federal housing policies that have contributed to wealth inequality for generations,” according to a fact sheet shared by the White House.

The executive actions also end the Justice Department’s use of private prisons, recommit the federal government to Tribal sovereignty and take steps to combat discrimination against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders that has intensified during the coronavirus pandemic.

“For too long we’ve allowed a narrow, cramped view of the promise of this nation to fester,” Biden said in a speech ahead of signings.

Biden said that closing the racial income and opportunity gaps would boost the economy for all Americans, adding that all federal agencies and White House offices would be tasked with tackling inequality.

Like I said, the Biden administration sure does love the word “equity.”

But to a lot of us, it just sounds like a fancy word for racism.
