AOC: I’m a “Planned Parenthood Baby;” Claims Organization “Saves” Lives

It’s no secret that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is no fan of Republicans.

She used her latest platform at a subcommittee meeting to bash Republicans for being against abortion.

AOC also blasted Republicans for wanting to defund Planned Parenthood.

And how exactly did AOC make her case?

By revealing that she is a “Planned Parenthood baby.”

But that’s not all…

AOC went on to claim that Planned Parenthood has “saved” countless lives.

Planned Parenthood, of course, is the organization that is notorious for abortions and is known for pressuring mothers to get an abortion, even if they are on the fence.

Now, this may score her brownie points among the radical left.

But her latest tirade likely won’t earn her any new fans, especially among Republicans.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claimed Thursday she is a “planned parenthood baby” after her mother used the organization for prenatal care when she was pregnant.

In a long-winded response during a subcommittee hearing on Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez attempted to lambast Republicans for their pro-life agenda:

First and foremost, I don’t want to hear a single person on this committee or outside of this committee talk about valuing life when they continue to uphold the death penalty, when they continue to support policies that disproportionately incarcerate and lead to the deaths of black men and people throughout this country, and uphold and absolutely unjust medical system that exists for profit that allows people to die because they can’t afford to live.

Ocasio-Cortez then began her discussion on Planned Parenthood, claiming she herself is a “Planned Parenthood baby.”

“If we want to talk about Planned Parenthood, let’s talk about how many lives Planned Parenthood has saved and how many babies have been born because of the prenatal care provided by Planned Parenthood,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

“If you don’t believe it and if you’ve never met a Planned Parenthood baby, I’m happy to let you know that I am one,” Ocasio-Cortez added, telling viewers that her “mother received and relied on prenatal care from Planned Parenthood when she was pregnant with me.”

To be clear, Planned Parenthood performs over 345,000 abortions per year.

That’s almost 100,000 abortions per day.

Planned Parenthood is not an organization that is known for saving lives.

More babies have died from abortion than Americans EVER will from COVID-19.

Yet we don’t lock down or shut down Planned Parenthood, do we?

The funny but sad thing is that AOC is so far left that she doesn’t realize how out of touch her latest tirade was.

The average American citizen will not relate to her comments.

Her comments only solidify her as the standard-bearer for the far left.

The Heritage Foundation highlighted in a report last year that the number of abortions that Planned Parenthood performed from October 1, 2017, to September 30, 2018, was 345,672.

Perhaps AOC should fact check her own speeches before she says such outrageous things.
