This is some scary stuff right here.

We all want the safest neighborhoods to live in. That’s why we move to quiet suburbs that typically come at a premium.

Joe Biden wants to destroy that as he makes his pushes for ‘racial equity’ in housing.

Will this lead to the destruction of the quiet and homely suburb?

For decades there were very clearly safe areas to live in, and really unsafe areas to live in….that may all be coming to an end if Biden gets his way.

What will this do to property values in America?

I have one request for Biden and his co-conspirators: why don’t you leave your gated communities, and your security detail and move to a low income neighborhood?

Seriously, you want all of us to foot the bill for your racialized nonsense while you sit behind gates with armed guards?

Give me a break, sleepy Joe, give me a break.

Here is more on the story:

Leftist NBC News reported:

On the campaign trail last year, President Donald Trump warned that Joe Biden would "abolish the suburbs" by forcing them to change housing regulations. Instead, as part of his $2 trillion American Jobs Plan, Biden is offering them cash to open their gates voluntarily.

"It's purely carrot, no stick," said a White House official who has worked on the policy.

More broadly, Biden's proposal would inject $213 billion — more than three times the Department of Housing and Urban Development's annual budget of about $60 billion — into developing, maintaining and retrofitting affordable units over the next eight years, including both public projects and lower-rent private residences. That spending would be for both new and existing homes in cities, suburbs and small towns.

The Washington Times boldly called Biden out:

Zoning laws that allow only single-family houses “keep families from moving to neighborhoods with more opportunities for them and their kids,” the administration said in a fact sheet describing its $2.3 trillion infrastructure plan.

The administration also is arguing that increasing the supply of housing by encouraging more apartment buildings would bring down the cost of rent.

Mr. Trump and Mr. Carson accused Democrats of plotting to destroy the suburbs.

“As usual, anyone who dares tell the truth about what the left is doing is smeared as a racist,” they wrote.

The plan also ran into opposition from residents in liberal cities such as Minnesota and Seattle, where areas limited to single-family homes have been cut back or eliminated.

Neighborhood groups, worried that the changes would devastate their communities, filed lawsuits.
