Taylor Marjorie Greene Confronts AOC On House Floor, Greene Says Debate Is On!

Last week we reported a potential debate  between Republican  Rep. Taylor Marjorie Greene and Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Ortez

Welp, after Greene confronted AOC on the House floor it looks like we can officially look forward to a debate on the  “Green New Deal”.

Greene announced that the debate is in the works after tweeting “I’m glad I ran into you today @AOC to plan our debate about the Green New Deal”.

Apparently, AOC gave Greene a 14-page document that explains the Green New Deal during the exchange on the House floor.

Taylor Marjorie Greene later took to Twitter and called the 14-page document AOC’s  “Communist manifesto”.

The New York Post covered the two confronted each other in Congress:

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene claims Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has agreed to debate her on the economic policy behind the Green New Deal.

Greene (R-Ga.) made the announcement on Twitter Wednesday, posting a photo of her speaking to Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on the House floor with the message, “I’m glad I ran into you today @AOC to plan our debate about the Green New Deal.”

In the photo, Greene and AOC can be seen talking with their masks on in the center of the floor, though what the two are actually discussing is not known.

“After I finish reading all 14 pages, like we agreed, I’ll schedule time for our debate,” the Georgia Republican added in the caption alongside the hashtag “#MTGvsAOC.”

Greene returned to work Thursday ready to face off with her Democratic colleague, writing on Twitter, “I read your 14 page Communists manifesto,” before saying she was “looking forward to debating.

The Daily Mail didn’t stay quiet and had this to say:

Marjorie Taylor Greene confronted Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the House floor Wednesday and posted a picture of the interaction to push again for a debate with the progressive congresswoman on her Green New Deal.

‘I’m glad I ran into you today @AOC to plan our debate about the Green New Deal,’ Rep. Greene posted on Twitter Wednesday evening.

‘After I finish reading all 14 pages, like we agreed, I’ll schedule time for our debate,’ the Georgia congresswoman continued, indicating she has not yet read the Green New Deal.

Greene used the hashtag ‘MTGvAOC’ and included a picture of her speaking with Ocasio-Cortez on the floor of the House of Representatives.

AOC claimed during the relaunch of her controversial Green New Deal that climate change is results of racism.

More than likely AOC handlers will try to prevent the two from debating because even they know AOC’s views are unpopular amongst Americans.
