According to the MSM, Police officers are supposed to be the bad guys right?
Well, this incident says otherwise.
A New York police officer was making a routine traffic stop but things turned south quickly.
The suspect that was pulled over, threw a cup of chemicals on the officer and fled from the scene.
That wasn’t the end though, the suspect then stopped after he spotted another officer following him and threw a molotov cocktail at his windshield.
After throwing the molotov cocktail he fled the scene yet again but then crashed shortly after and was arrested.
It doesn’t sound easy being a cop!
Today, a vehicle stop for running a red light proved once again that no traffic enforcement is “routine.” When approached, the driver doused a cop with a chemical before fleeing, tossing a Molotov cocktail — and finally being arrested. The New York Post covered the incident, see what details they had to add:
An unhinged motorist threw a caustic chemical at an NYPD officer during a traffic stop Saturday morning in Brooklyn — and then hurled a lit Molotov cocktail at another cop who stopped him when he tried to escape, police said.
The terrifying episode unfolded shortly before 8 a.m. at Clarendon Road and East 45th Street in East Flatbush, when cops stopped a 44-year-old man who was driving a gray 2000 Lincoln Town Car, police said.
When one of the officers approached the driver’s side door, the man threw the contents of a cup holding a “caustic liquid substance” in the cop’s face, and then sped off, police said.
Responding cops spotted the Town Car on Snyder Avenue near Kings. Highway, and when they pulled up behind him, the man stopped the car, got out, and threw a lit Molotov cocktail at the police car, an NYPD spokesman said.
The Molotov — made in a vodka bottle — struck the patrol car and bounced off, shattering in the street, according to cops, who said no one was physically harmed by the incendiary device.
The suspect drove off again, but crashed his car a short distance away on Snyder near East 55th Street, where he was arrested.

The perpetrator was safely apprehended and an additional Molotov cocktail was recovered inside the vehicle.
This is a reminder of how important it is to have each other's backs and to always remain aware of your surroundings while on patrol.

ABC 7 News didn’t stay silent and had this to add:
A man was arrested after throwing a chemical and a Molotov cocktail at officers when they pulled him over in Brooklyn Saturday.
Officials say NYPD officers attempted to pull over a 2000 Lincoln Towncar driven by Lionel Virgile, 44, after he ran a red light at Clarendon Road and East 45th Street in East Flatbush just before 8 a.m.
They say Virgile threw a liquid chemical, possibly bleach or peroxide, in the face of an officer as he approached the car, and then drove off.
Police charged Virgile with possession of a destructive weapon on Saturday night.
Police released shocking body camera footage that shows the moment Virgile went completely out of control.
Imagine if the officers showed any kind of force toward’s the suspect, it would more than likely be national news in today’s America.
