Biden Pushes Gun Control Immediately After Fed-Ex Shooting That Left 8 Dead

It’s almost like we’re watching the same thing over and over again.

A mass shooting takes place and immediately after Democrats scream for the 2nd amendment to be obliterated.

Yesterday was no different, after a gunman killed eight people at a Fed-ex facility in Indianapolis, Biden wasted no time to declare that America needs stricter gun control.

In Biden’s statement, he urged Congress to pass strict gun laws and then took the Lord’s name in vain and said “Who in God’s name needs a weapon that can hold 100 rounds, or 40 rounds or 20 rounds”.

He then went on to say that the shootings are a “national embarrassment” to the country.

Fox 5 News covered Biden’s statements, see what they had to say:

After a gunman killed eight people and wounded several others before killing himself in a late-night shooting Thursday at a FedEx facility near the Indianapolis airport — the latest mass shooting on an already long list in 2021 after a lull during the COVID-19 pandemic —Joe Biden called on Congress to act immediately on gun control legislation

In Washington on Friday, Biden called on the Senate not to wait on bringing a House-passed gun control bill to the floor.

“Congress has to step up and act. The Senate has to act,” Biden said. “I strongly, strongly urge my Republican friends and the Congress who refused to bring up the House-passed bill to bring it up now. This has to end. It’s a national embarrassment what’s going on.”

Biden noted that no one has worked harder to deal with the violence by individuals using weapons than him.”Who in God’s name needs a weapon that can hold 100 rounds, or 40 rounds or 20 rounds? It’s just wrong. I’m not going to give up until it’s done,” Biden continued.

Bloomberg covered Biden’s Gun Control comments too:

Joe Biden called the spate of mass shootings in the U.S. a “national embarrassment” and challenged the Senate to take up a gun-control bill passed by the House.

Biden spoke at a joint news conference with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga on Friday, a day after a gunman opened fire at a FedEx Corp. facility near Indianapolis International Airport, killing eight people and wounding several others before apparently taking his own life.

Biden said there is broad support among Americans, including gun owners, for background checks for weapons purchases. “I strongly urge my Republican friends in the Congress who even refuse to bring up the House-passed bill to bring it up now.”

“Who in God’s name needs a weapon that can hold 100 rounds or 40 rounds?” Biden asked, referring to high-capacity magazines. “It’s just wrong.”
