White House Blames Sleepy Joe’s Stumble on ‘High Winds’ Despite Only a Moderate Breeze

This is getting even more pathetic.

After the nation watched Biden fall 3 times while climbing the stairs to Air Force One, the White House scrambled to find an excuse.

Biden must be even more frail than we thought if a light breeze can make him fall 3 times.

This Biden decline saga is getting even more embarrassing by the day.

It’s only a matter of time before they invoke the 25th Amendment on Stumbling Joe.

Democrats & the media know the charade can’t last much longer since America is becoming a laughing stock to the world with Biden at the helm.

A White House spokeswoman said Friday that President Biden fell on the steps of Air Force One because “it’s pretty windy outside.”

White House deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters aboard the presidential aircraft that she also was nearly toppled by the wind.

“It’s pretty windy outside. It’s very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself,” Jean-Pierre said.

She added the Biden “is doing 100 percent.”

According to the National Weather Service, Joint Base Andrews in Maryland is experiencing winds of more than 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 25 mph.

However, the wind did not prevent the plane from taking off for a trip to Atlanta, where Biden will meet with community leaders about a shooting spree that killed eight at area massage parlors. He also will visit the headquarters of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic.

The White House hastily downplayed the significance of Biden falling.

White House communications director Kate Bedingfield tweeted, “I know folks have seen that President Biden slipped on his way up the stairs to AF1, but I’m happy to report that he is just fine and did not even require any attention from the medical team who travels with him. Nothing more than a misstep on the stairs.”

The president’s advanced age was raised as a concern repeatedly both during the Democratic primaries and the general election last year.

In September, Biden mocked Trump after the former president and his campaign suggested that the Democrat had “lost his step.” Biden told one outlet in his own defense, “Look at how [Trump] steps and look at how I step. Watch how I run up ramps and how he stumbles down ramps, OK?”

After Biden’s fall on Friday, a buzz began on social media asking how mainstream media outlets will cover the current president’s literal stumbles versus the hysteria when former President Donald Trump took caution while walking down a ramp after delivering the commencement at West Point. Trump explained later that the ramp was slick.

Commentary writer Drew Holden delivered a thread on Twitter showing several examples of media outlets declaring Trump’s ramp walk raised “health questions” along with “grifters” who seized on it — with one declaring the ramp walk showed Trump “is physically and mentally impaired.”

Dylan Byers, senior reporter for NBC News and MSNBC, even wondered out loud whether media would be consistent in its coverage of the Biden fall, tweeting, “Going to be an interesting test of the media that ran ‘Trump grabs handrail’ headlines to see how they handle Biden falling down on the stairs. Every news organization is entitled to its own editorial judgment, but if you set the precedent…”
