After every major shooting Democrats scream for more gun control before the facts are even revealed.
Less than 24 hours after the shooting in Atlanta that left 8 people dead, Obama immediately rallied the gun control crowd and stated “Yesterday’s shooting are another tragic that we have far more work to do to put in place commonsense gun safety laws”.
Leave it to Dems to politicize a tragedy.
Check out Obama’s statement on the Atlanta shooting below:
Yesterday's shootings are another tragic reminder that we have far more work to do to put in place commonsense gun safety laws and root out the pervasive patterns of hatred and violence in our society.

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Frank Reynolds, Robert Long’s motive may not have been racially motivated but Long could’ve been motivated to shoot six Asians and two white people due to his sex addiction.
The Hill covered more on Obama’s statement and added these details:
President Obama said the U.S. has “continued to neglect” the “epidemic of gun violence” after a shooting spree targeting massage parlors in Atlanta left at least eight people dead, six of whom were Asian women.
“Even as we’ve battled the pandemic, we’ve continued to neglect the longer-lasting epidemic of gun violence in America,” Obama said in a series of tweets Wednesday. “Although the shooter’s motive is not yet clear, the identity of the victims underscores an alarming rise in anti-Asian violence that must end.”
“Yesterday’s shootings are another tragic reminder that we have far more work to do to put in place commonsense gun safety laws and root out the pervasive patterns of hatred and violence in our society,” Obama said.

Fox News got the scoop too:
Former President Barack Obama is calling for tighter gun control Wednesday in the wake of the Atlanta-area massage parlor shootings that have left eight people dead.
In a series of tweets, Obama wrote that despite the U.S. fighting the coronavirus pandemic, “we’ve continued to neglect the longer-lasting epidemic of gun violence in America.”
“Yesterday’s shootings are another tragic reminder that we have far more work to do to put in place commonsense gun safety laws and root out the pervasive patterns of hatred and violence in our society,” he continued. “Michelle and I pray for the victims, their families, everyone grieving these needless and devastating killings — and we urge meaningful action that will save lives.”
Police have said so far they do not believe race played a role, but have yet to rule out a hate crime.
Be on the lookout the next couple days because lawmakers might try to use this tragedy to impose stricter gun laws.
