Sometimes you really don’t know what you have until it’s gone.
Luckily, Trump supporters have never lost sight of how great President Donald J. Trump was for America during his time in the White House.
The Alabama GOP certainly hasn’t forgotten.
They are honoring President Trump with a resolution declaring that he was “one of the greatest and most effective presidents in the 245-year history of this Republic.”
The state’s GOP uninimously voted for the resolution, which claims that “President Trump put the American people and the American worker first in all of his decisions.”
Fox News has the story:
The Alabama Republican Party on Saturday will present former President Donald Trump with a framed copy of a resolution, passed unanimously by the party, that declares him "one of the greatest and most effective" presidents in U.S. history.
"The resolution, basically, it just talks about the greatness of Donald J. Trump, how he made America great again and I hope other states will follow suit," Perry Hooper Jr., a former state representative and a member of the state party’s executive committee, told Fox News in an interview.
Hooper will present a framed copy of the resolution to Trump at a reception at Mar-a-Lago, Florida on Saturday evening.
The resolution, which passed unanimously in the party, calls Trump "one of the greatest and most effective presidents in the 245-year history of this Republic" and lists his achievements in office.
"It’s just recognizing him for all the great things he has done for America for bringing back American manufacturing, cutting taxes, creating best economy ever, building up our military," Hooper said.

It also cites Trump’s handling of COVID-19 vaccine distribution, calling it "one of the most important feats in medical history," low employment rates and Supreme Court picks.
Newsbreak has more:
The resolution passed unanimously by the state party’s executive committee stated that Mr Trump was one of “the most effective Presidents in the 245-year-history of this Republic”.
It cited Operation Warp Speed for delivering “safe and effective Covid-19 vaccines in record time”, the “largest tax cuts and reforms in American history”, withdrawal from “the job-and-trade-killing Trans-pacific Partnership and NAFTA”, and appointing “three constitutional conservative justices to the US Supreme Court”.
Mr Trump kept a low-profile after his departure from Washington DC, but re-emerged at the end of February to give hi first public speech at the right-wing CPAC conference.
In recent days he has put out a string of statements, including one that one that demanded credit for developing the vaccines against the “China virus.”
Naturally, this great accomplishment has triggered more leftists on Twitter:
While the liberals get angry, Trump supporters are taking the news much better:
When you look back, President Trump really did accomplish so much more than any other president in the last several decades.
