Republican “Cult of Death” is Beto’s Latest Attempt at Projection

Beto O'Rourke is calling for Greg Abbott's resignation over his decision to reopen the state. O'Rourke says Abbott is a member of the GOP cult of death.

If this isn’t projection, I don’t know what it is.

Beto O’Rourke dug deep into his outrage playbook after Governor Greg Abbott announced that Texas will reopen.

O’Rourke criticized Abbott’s decision, saying that his actions will kill more Texans.

He also called Abbott and the republican party a cult of death.

This is the kind of violent rhotoric democrats are known for, but O’Rourke clearly has no shame in going this low.

This isn’t even the first time he’s called the GOP a “death cult.”

Last year, O’Rourke said the same thing after discussing the rise in gun violence.

Betro O'Rourke calls Governor Abbott and the GOP a "cult of death."

Beto has been very critical of Governor Abbott, and it's clearly politically motivated.

This isn't the first time Beto has used the term "republican death cult."

Last July, he made the very same argument with the very same rhetoric.

In fact, O'Rourke has continually used dangerous rhetoric to further his own political gain.

Just a few weeks ago, he warned that America will become Nazi Germany in the next 10 years...

Fox News covered that story:

On "Morning Joe," O'Rourke likened efforts by former President Donald Trump and some Republican allies to overturn President Joe Biden's election victory to the failed Beer Hall Putsch coup attempt by Adolf Hitler in 1923.

"The proudest democracy on the face of the planet will become a memory if we do not fight for it right now," O'Rourke said. "So we should take no comfort in the fact that Joe Biden was successfully sworn in, no comfort in the fact that Congress seems to be operating as normal. This thing is on a roll right now, and if you look at the Beer Hall Putsch in Germany, 1923, it was 10 years later Hitler is chancellor. We are operating under the big lie right now in America. We’ve got to stop it. That's up to all of us in this great democracy."

O'Rourke served three terms in the House of Representative before launching a failed bid to oust Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, in 2018. He used the liberal fame from his narrow defeat as a springboard to run for president, but he never gained traction and dropped out of the Democratic primary battle in October 2019. He pushed Biden to consider Texas a swing state in 2020, but Trump defeated Biden by nearly six points there and improved on his showing with Hispanic voters from 2016.

O'Rourke often compared the Trump administration to the Third Reich during his failed presidential campaign.

Democrats like O'Rourke are experts at projecting upon republicans, even as they continually endanger the lives of Americans throughout the country with their bad policies.

While Beto cries his crocodile tears over Texas reopening (a move which most Texans approve of), Joe Biden has allowed illegal immigrants who have tested positive for COVID-19 free entry into Texas.

The New York Post with more:

More than 100 illegal immigrants who tested positive for the coronavirus — after their arrival in Texas since late January — have been released by the Border Patrol into the Lone Star State and are free to travel to other parts of the US, according to reports.

Felipe Romero, a spokesman for the border city of Brownsville, told Fox News that they are telling the migrants who tested positive to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines to quarantine and maintain social distance, but that Brownsville doesn’t have the authority to stop them from traveling to the rest of the country.

He said the 108 positives account for 6.3 percent of the total migrants who received rapid tests at the city’s main bus terminal, a program that began on Jan. 25.

Some of the migrants described to Noticias Telemundo Investiga how they were tested at the border and then allowed to hit the streets despite a positive result for the coronavirus.

Miriam Izaguirre, a migrant from Honduras, said she crossed the Rio Grande on Monday with her young son and surrendered to authorities but was released within a few hours by the Border Patrol.

“Right now we were tested for COVID and they separated us … because we were positive,” Izaguirre told news site. “We are waiting right now.”

They expect to board a bus to Houston.

Other migrants who tested positive said they plan to travel to North Carolina, Maryland and New Jersey.
