Mike Pompeo Calls Out The “Elites” During His CPAC Speech

Mike Pompeo made an awesome speech at the CPAC last night.

Pompeo’s most memorable line from his speech was when he was quoted saying “we were willing to challenge the elites”.

Remember a few years back if you were caught talking about the “elites” in this country you would be labeled as a crazy conspiracy theorist by both Republicans and Democrats.

Well, since the Trump train came though to Washington that has all changed.

Trump’s Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called the elites out in one of the biggest convention for Conservatives.

That wasn’t it though, he also talked about how the Biden administration is soft when it comes to putting America First.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blasted the “elites” during his speech at CPAC Saturday, defending the “America First” agenda by declaring, “We were willing to challenge the elites.”

“I’m proud of our fight. And I’m proud of our accomplishments. We have truly upended the status quo,” Pompeo declared to a standing ovation. “We’ve been called clowns, deplorables, ignorant, and rednecks; we’ve been called the evil resistance” by the elites.

He asked, “I hear President Biden saying America is back. Back to what?”

Pompeo then listed several domestic accomplishments of the Trump administration, emphasizing the ability of “American workers to make a good wage,” and the creation of American energy jobs while demanding “fair and reciprocal trade.”

Pompeo seemed most pleased with his foreign policy successes, rattling off “staying out of wars,” moving the embassy to Jerusalem, consummating the Abraham Accords, and bringing hostages back to the United States. “America first means never forgetting our American warriors,” he said.

Pompeo also highlighted in his speech how the Trump’s administration was able to achieve success by using the “America First” policy

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke about how the previous administration’s “America First” policy benefitted the world at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Florida, on Saturday.

He stated that the “America First” agenda strengthened the nation’s freedoms and in turn benefitted the entire world.

Pompeo spoke about the Trump administration’s defense of America and Israel in the Middle East, and changes they made in certain policies that they were told were not possible.

“We were told that: ‘this is an establishment foreign policy.’ We were told that you can’t sanction the ayatollah in Iran and you can’t stop sending out pallets of cash to the leadership: ‘there’d be war.’ Well, we did. And there wasn’t war.”

“We were told you can’t move the United States Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem: ‘there’d be a war.’ Well we did, and there was not a war,” he continued.
