President Trump Endorsed Two Republicans For State Party Chair Contests

President Trump hasn’t gone anywhere.

Trump has just given endorsements to Republican candidates Bob Paduchik to chair the Republican Party of Ohio and  Drew McKissick to be the Republican chairman of South Carolina.

This is a big endorsement!

Just think about it, the chairman can control the direction of the Republican Party in the state.

It’s great to see Trump staying active and making sure RINOS don’t take control of the Republican Party.

The New York Post covered both of Trump’s endorsements:

President Donald Trump is wading into contests for control of state Republican Party organizations with endorsements this week in Ohio and South Carolina that would help cement his national network of GOP allies.

Trump endorsed Bob Paduchik for Ohio Republican Party chairman in a Wednesday email blast after giving his “complete and total endorsement” Tuesday in a handwritten note to South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Drew McKissick, who is seeking re-election.

“Bob Paduchik is running for Chair of the Republican Party of Ohio. He successfully led my campaign in both 2016 and 2020, having even more success the second time around,” Trump wrote in a message blasted to reporters by Trump’s Save America PAC.

The handwritten note for McKissick was written in all-caps, apparently with a Sharpie marker. It said: “Drew — you have my complete and total endorsement. Great job!”

WTOC News covered an interesting statement made by McKissick after Trump’s endorsement:

In a handwritten note, President Trump told McKissick Monday evening that he has “[his] complete and total endorsement. Great job!”

“When President Trump was at the top of the ticket, we saw historic gains across the country but especially here in South Carolina,” McKissick said. “He brought a record number of people into the Party, expanded our geographic and demographic support, and drove turnout across the state. As a result, South Carolina has more elected Republicans across the state than we’ve had in more than 140 years–and in counties that haven’t had Republican representation since the end of the Civil War. We look forward to continuing the tremendous growth President Trump started.”

I’m sure this isn’t the last time we hear about President Trump endorsing  Republican candidates.
