Kyle Becker is doing some excellent reporting over at ILMF and BeckerNews.
But I have a slightly different take than he does on a recent story.
Mind if I share mine with you?
Becker recently wrote an article titled: “Donald Trump’s Important Message To Mike Pence Is Exploding Media Myths”.
Trending: The Cure For Cancer Known For 42 Years?
The gist of the article is that President Trump and Mike Pence have patched things up.
To paraphrase Richard Fish: “bygones!”
According to Becker’s article:
Imagine now that reports have surfaced that Donald Trump has not only spoken to Mike Pence on multiple occasions, he even had kind words to say about him.
“Despite their differences, the reality is that they’ve had multiple conversations before [they] departed. The president thanked the vice president for his service, told him he did a great job, and they’ve even had conservations since then, including even this week,” said Marc Short, Pence’s former chief of staff, in an interview on Fox News.
Trump “thanked” the vice president. Told him he did a “great job” while in office. This is according to Mike Pence’s former chief of staff.
The only problem?
All these reports come from Pence’s camp, and no confirmation from Trump.
The silence is deafening.
Here is Pence’s Chief of Staff trying to convince you that things have been all patched up….

Ok, my take?
I don’t buy it.
First, I’m not hearing anything of the sort coming from President Trump.
Second, I know President Trump’s character.
He doesn’t easily forgive and he never forgets.
In fact, I think this whole episode since the election has shown him exactly who he can trust….and who he can’t.
And Pence was #1 on the “can’t trust” list.
Third, the news came from Pence’s camp.
Of course Pence wants the world to think he’s back in Trump’s good graces!
President Trump is still wildly popular, and Pence is sinking like a rock!

If I were Pence, I’d want to put myself back in Trump’s inner circle.
Except, I think he will find that’s much easier said than done.
You find out who your friends are when your back is up against the wall.
Pence had multiple changes to help Trump and he took none of them.
Not even a small shred.
Then there is this….
If they were really buddy-buddy again, wouldn’t it be the perfect opportunity for them both to speak at CPAC?
Have Pence open and then Trump headlines?
Except, I guess Mikey must have been “too busy”:

Rift mended?
I think not.
Nor should it be.
But that’s just my opinion, I want to know what YOU think!
