Hank Kunneman’s Snow Prophecy Fulfilled?

You might recall a month or two ago we covered Hank Kunneman and his “Snow Prophecy”.

It’s a short prophecy less than a couple minutes but I want to watch it again here and then tell me if you believe this has already come to pass.

I love what he says, it’s not just the fact that the prophecy has come to pass, it’s what it MEANS….

It will all be a sign that the Judgment of the LORD is about to fall.

Now I know what some of you are thinking….oh really difficult prophecy to say there is going to be snow in winter time!

But that’s not what he said.

And that’s not why it’s newsworthy.

He said snow in very unusual places, record breaking storms.

A historic Arctic outbreak continues to bring a bone-chilling deep freeze to the central United States, as the coldest air in generations plunges south and is accompanied by snow and ice all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. Some cities will see their lowest temperatures in more than a century as high-impact winter storms roll across the country.

Temperatures about 50 degrees below average occupy an enormous swath of the central United States, stretching from the Rockies to the Mississippi Valley and the Midwest. At least 15 states could see temperatures of minus-10 or colder, while lows near the U.S.-Canada border flirt with minus-40.

A major winter storm will hit Texas, Mississippi Valley from Sunday into Monday

More than 50 million people could see temperatures dip below zero during the next several days as the record-setting deep freeze envelops the country.

Meanwhile, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) issued a state disaster declaration, where every one of the state’s 254 counties was under a winter storm watch, warning or advisory leading up to the approaching storms.

And here’s Business Insider explaining that the Power Grid is down in 14 states and we are at 32 year historic low temperatures:

A major power grid that spans 14 states, from North Dakota to Texas, has ordered rolling blackouts amid an extreme cold blast that has hit the south.

Southwest Power Pool (SPP), which is headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, ordered the rolling blackouts on Monday, declaring an energy emergency. Extreme weather had already taken out power for millions of homes in Texas, where temperatures hit record lows.

The power grid links utilities in Oklahoma and Kansas, as well as parts of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Nebraska, and New Mexico, the New York Times reported.

The grid operator said in a statement on Twitter this was the first time it’s ordered mass rolling blackouts, and that it was doing so to prevent further uncontrolled outages.

“It’s a last resort, that we understand puts a burden on our member utilities and the customers they serve, but it’s a step we’re consciously taking to prevent circumstances from getting worse, which could result in uncontrolled outages of even greater magnitude,” SPP’s executive Vice President and chief operating officer Lanny NIckell said in the statement.

SPP isn’t alone in ordering rolling blackouts due to the winter storm.

Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) issued rolling blackouts in Texas on Monday, and power provider Oncor told customers that the supply of electricity was “lower than demand.” The cold snap also caused T-Mobile outages in the state.

As of 2 p.m, on Monday, at least 2.8 million Texans had experienced power outages, according to PowerOutage.us.

Dan Woodfin, a senior director for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, which manages the state’s power grid, said in a press conference that outages were expected to continue into Tuesday, per Bloomberg.

“We anticipate we will need to continue these controlled outages for the rest of today and perhaps all day tomorrow,” he said.

Bill Magness, head of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, told Bloomberg that all grid operators and electric companies in the state were “fighting to restore power” as soon as possible.

Extreme cold weather and snow are rare in Texas, and the National Weather Service in the state, based in Midland, tweeted early Monday that it recorded a temperature of minus 2 degrees Fahrenheit, the coldest temperature in the region in 32 years.

The state’s electric grid operator lost control of the power supply Monday morning as 2 million Texas households didn’t have heat or other electric appliances working at home as a massive winter storm delivered freezing temperatures across the state.

When the state’s grid operator, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, began implementing rolling blackouts at 1:25 a.m. Monday, the outages were intended to be implemented on a rolling basis — up to 45 minutes per affected area, according to the ERCOT.

Instead, some Texans in Austin, Houston and other cities were without power into Monday afternoon and all morning since even before ERCOT called for the rolling blackouts.

And some companies that deliver electricity to households and businesses have told customers to expect to be without power through at least the end of the day as they work to restore power generating units that went offline during the storm.

“Unfortunately, if you are a customer who is currently experiencing an outage, you should be prepared to be without power for at least the rest of the day,” tweeted CenterPoint Energy. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner said midday Monday that more than 1.1 million CenterPoint customers were without power.

The electricity grid was designed to be in high demand during the summer, when Texans crank their air conditioning at home. But some of the energy sources that power the grid during the summer are offline during the winter. So when Texans stayed home during the storm on Sunday and demanded record amounts of electricity, the state’s energy system could not keep up.

Some of the energy sources powering the grid were knocked out by the inclement weather, most of which were facilities run by gas, coal or nuclear energy.

“Most of the plants that went offline during evening and morning today were fueled by one of those sources,” said Dan Woodfin, senior director of system operations at ERCOT.
