Governor Cuomo of New York needs to be put in Rikers Island immediately!
In a bombshell announcement, Governor Cuomo’s top aide apologized to New York Democrats for withholding New York’s Nursing Home COVID-19 death toll.
The reason they withheld the data according to Cuomo’s aide Melissa DeRosa was that Cuomo feared Trump was going to get the DOJ to do an investigation.
It looks like Cuomo could possibly be impeached or even face a criminal trial in the upcoming months.

If Cuomo purposely hid nursing home data as his aide claims, it's not just impeachable, it's criminal.

Gov. Cuomo’s aide just admitted that they purposely hid nursing home data from the feds.
We first reported that @NYGovCuomo’s health dept. was undercounting nursing home deaths back in May.

Fox News covered the bombshell announcement:
A top aide to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo told leading state Democratic lawmakers that the administration had withheld data on COVID-19 deaths at nursing homes to avoid federal scrutiny, according to a bombshell new report.
The revelation prompted condemnations and even talk of impeachment in Albany, the state’s capital. Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., wants the Department of Justice to open an obstruction of justice investigation.
“The families of thousands of dead New York seniors deserve accountability and justice for the true consequences of Governor Cuomo’s fatally flawed nursing home policy and the continued attempts to cover it up. It’s clear what’s happening here is criminal,” he said.
The New York Post first reported that Melissa DeRosa, secretary to the governor, told leading Empire State Democrats that the administration feared the data could “be used against us” by the Justice Department during a video conference call.
Gov. Cuomo's top aide admitted they hid the true scale of COVID-19 nursing home deaths out of fear the numbers would “be used against us” by federal prosecutors. Incredibly damning reporting from my colleague @bern_hogan. https://t.co/Y2KvaXSJRL

The New York Post broke the story:
Governor Cuomo’s top aide privately apologized to Democratic lawmakers for withholding the state’s nursing-home death toll from COVID-19 — telling them “we froze” out of fear the true numbers would “be used against us” by federal prosecutors, The Post has learned.
The stunning admission of a cover-up was made by Secretary to the Governor Melissa DeRosa during a video conference call with state Democratic leaders in which she said the Cuomo administration had rebuffed a legislative request for the tally in August because “right around the same time, [then-President Donald Trump] turns this into a giant political football,” according to an audio recording of the two-hour-plus meeting.
“He starts tweeting that we killed everyone in nursing homes,” DeRosa said. “He starts going after [New Jersey Gov. Phil] Murphy, starts going after [California Gov. Gavin] Newsom, starts going after [Michigan Gov.] Gretchen Whitmer.”
In addition to attacking Cuomo’s fellow Democratic governors, DeRosa said, Trump “directs the Department of Justice to do an investigation into us.”
